وَمَآ إِنَّ إِلَّا مَا إِنَّ ﴿٥٣﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon which my Lord has mercy. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

Tafsīr

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

مگر پروردگارم رحم کند

چنان که در یات پیش ملاحظه شدء حضرت یوسف(ع) بی‌گناهی خود را ثابت کرد و اعلام داشت که هرگز به عزیز مصر خیانت نکرده است؛ اما از آن رو که او از بندگان مخلّص خدا بود و تمام قدرت‌ها و قوّت‌ها را از خدا می‌دانست و برای خود در مقابل خدا قدرتی قائّل نبود» خودنگهداری خویش در مقابل نفس سرکش را رحمت و عنایتی از طرف خدا بیان کرد و نه افتخاری برای خود. آری» یوسف(ع) خود را منهای رحمت و لطف الهیء مانند دیگر افراد بشر می‌دانست که در برابر شهوات حیوانی به زانو در می‌آیند؛ اما اگر رحمت خداوند شامل حال انسان گرددء از سخت‌ترین امتحانات سربلند بیرون خواهد آمد.
