    [You disbelievers are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their portion [of worldly enjoyment], and…

  • لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

    So that they will deny what We have granted them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know.

  • وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ

    And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,

  • وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ

    And when they are reminded, they remember not.

  • وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

  • قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ أَمْ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱللَّٰعِبِينَ

    They said, "Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?"
