And present to them the example of the life of this world, [its being] like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it and [then] it becomes dry remnants, scattered by the winds. And Allah is ever, over all things, Perfect in Ability.

Draw for them the parable of the life of this world: [It is] like the water We send down from the sky. Then the earth’s vegetation mingles with it. Then it becomes chaff, scattered by the wind. And Allah has power over all things.

And coin for them the similitude of the life of the world as water which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingleth with it and then becometh dry twigs that the winds scatter. Allah is able to do all things.

Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world: It is like the rain which we send down from the skies: the earth's vegetation absorbs it, but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter: it is (only) Allah who prevails over all things.

And strike for them the similitude of the present life: it is as water that We send down out of heaven, and the plants of the earth mingle with it; and in the morning it is straw the winds scatter; and God is omnipotent over everything.

و زندگی دنیا را برای آنان وصف کن که [در سرعت زوال و ناپایداری] مانند آبی است که آن را از آسمان نازل کنیم، پس گیاه زمین به وسیله آن [به طور انبوه و در هم پیچیده] بروید، [و طراوت و سرسبزی شگفت انگیزی پدید آورد] آن گاه [در مدتی کوتاه] خشک و ریز ریز شود که بادها آن را به هر سو پراکنده کنند؛ و خدا بر هر کاری تواناست.

و برای آنان زندگی دنیا را مَثَل بزن که مانند آبی است که آن را از آسمان فرو فرستادیم؛ سپس گیاه زمین با آن درآمیخت و [چنان‌] خشک گردید که بادها پراکنده‌اش کردند، و خداست که همواره بر هر چیزی تواناست.

Onlara, dünya hayatı misalinin tıpkı şöyle olduğunu anlat: Gökten indirdiğimiz su ile yeryüzünde yetişen bitkiler birbirine karışır, ama sonunda rüzgarın savuracağı çerçöpe döner. Allah her şeyin üstünde bir kudrete sahip olandır.

Dan berilah perumpamaan kepada mereka (manusia), kehidupan dunia sebagai air hujan yang Kami turunkan dari langit, maka menjadi subur karenanya tumbuh-tumbuhan di muka bumi, kemudian tumbuh-tumbuhan itu menjadi kering yang diterbangkan oleh angin. Dan adalah Allah, Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.

اور انہیں زندگانی دنیا کی مثال اس پانی کی بتائیے جسے ہم نے آسمان سے نازل کیا تو زمین کی روئیدگی اس سے مل جل گئی پھر آخر میں وہ ریزہ ریزہ ہوگئی جسے ہوائیں اڑادیتی ہیں اور اللہ ہر شے پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے

তাদের কাছে পার্থিব জীবনের উপমা বর্ণনা করুন। তা পানির ন্যায়, যা আমি আকাশ থেকে নাযিল করি। অতঃপর এর সংমিশ্রণে শ্যামল সবুজ ভূমিজ লতা-পাতা নির্গত হয়; অতঃপর তা এমন শুস্ক চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ হয় যে, বাতাসে উড়ে যায়। আল্লাহ এ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
