ٱلَّذِينَ ٱلَّذِى بِمَا لَا إِلَّا فَهُمْ لَا ﴿١٧١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries cattle or sheep - deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.

  • إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.

  • مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ ٱشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ لَّا يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلْبَعِيدُ

    The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they…

  • وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

    But it is not except a reminder to the worlds.

  • قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ

    Destroyed are the falsifiers

  • فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ

    So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad],
