So they defeated them by permission of Allah, and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him the kingship and prophethood and taught him from that which He willed. And if it were not for Allah checking [some] people by means of others, the earth would have been corrupted, but Allah is full of bounty to the worlds.

Thus they routed them with Allah’s will, and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him kingdom and wisdom and taught him whatever He liked. Were it not for Allah’s repelling the people by means of one another, the earth would surely have been corrupted; but Allah is gracious to the world’s people.

So they routed them by Allah's leave and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him the kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of that which He willeth. And if Allah had not repelled some men by others the earth would have been corrupted. But Allah is a Lord of Kindness to (His) creatures.

By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.

And they routed them, by the leave of God, and David slew Goliath; and God gave him the kingship, and Wisdom, and He taught him such as He willed. Had God not driven back the people, some by the means of others, the earth had surely corrupted; but God is bounteous unto all beings.

پس آنان را به توفیق خدا شکست دادند. و داود [جوان مؤمن نیرومندی که در سپاه طالوت بود] جالوت را کشت، و خدا او را فرمانروایی و حکمت داد، و از آنچه می خواست به او آموخت. و اگر خدا [تجاوز و ستم] برخی از مردم را به وسیله برخی دیگر دفع نمی کرد، قطعاً زمین را فساد فرا می گرفت؛ ولی خدا نسبت به جهانیان دارای فضل و احسان است.

پس آنان را به اذن خدا شکست دادند، و داوود، جالوت را کشت، و خداوند به او پادشاهی و حکمت ارزانی داشت، و از آنچه می‌خواست به او آموخت. و اگر خداوند برخی از مردم را به وسیله برخی دیگر دفع نمی‌کرد، قطعاً زمین تباه می‌گردید. ولی خداوند نسبت به جهانیان تفضّل دارد.

Onları Allah'ın izniyle bozguna uğrattılar; Davud Calut'u öldürdü, Allah Davud'a hükümranlık ve hikmet verdi ve ona dilediğinden öğretti. Allah'ın insanları birbiriyle savması olmasaydı yeryüzünün düzeni bozulurdu. Fakat Allah alemlere lütufkardır.

Mereka (tentara Thalut) mengalahkan tentara Jalut dengan izin Allah dan (dalam peperangan itu) Daud membunuh Jalut, kemudian Allah memberikan kepadanya (Daud) pemerintahan dan hikmah (sesudah meninggalnya Thalut) dan mengajarkan kepadanya apa yang dikehendaki-Nya. Seandainya Allah tidak menolak (keganasan) sebahagian umat manusia dengan sebagian yang lain, pasti rusaklah bumi ini. Tetapi Allah mempunyai karunia (yang dicurahkan) atas semesta alam.

نتیجہ یہ ہوا کہ ان لوگوں نے جالوت کے لشکر کو خدا کے حکم سے شکست دے دی اور داؤد علیھ السّلامنے جالوت کو قتل کردیا اور اللہ نے انہیں ملک اور حکمت عطاکردی اور اپنے علم سے جس قدر چاہا دے دیا اور اگر اسی طرح خدا بعض کو بعض سے نہ روکتا رہتا تو ساری زمین میں فساد پھیل جاتا لیکن خدا عالمین پر بڑا فضل کرنے والا ہے

তারপর ঈমানদাররা আল্লাহর হুকুমে জালূতের বাহিনীকে পরাজিত করে দিল এবং দাউদ জালূতকে হত্যা করল। আর আল্লাহ দাউদকে দান করলেন রাজ্য ও অভিজ্ঞতা। আর তাকে যা চাইলেন শিখালেন। আল্লাহ যদি একজনকে অপরজনের দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন, তাহলে গোটা দুনিয়া বিধ্বস্ত হয়ে যেতো। কিন্তু বিশ্ববাসীর প্রতি আল্লাহ একান্তই দয়ালু, করুণাময়।
