بِمَن فِى وَلَقَدْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ ﴿٥٥﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And your Lord is most knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And We have made some of the prophets exceed others [in various ways], and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

برتری بعضی از پیامبران بر بعضی دیگر

این جمله, پاسخ به یکی از ایرادات مشرکان است که با تعبیر تحقیرآمیزی می‌گفتند: آّیا خداوند شخص دیگری را نداشت که محمد یتیم را به نبوت انتخاب کرد؟ وانگهی چه شد که او سرآمد همه پیامبران و خاتم آنها شد؟! قرآن می‌فرماید: این جای تعجب نیست. خداوند از ارزش انسانی هرکس آگاه است و پیامبران خود را از میان همین تودةٌ مردم برگزیده و بعضی را بر بعضی فضیلت و برتری داده است. ابراهیم را خلیلالله، موسی را کلیم الله، عیسی را روح اللّٰه و پیامبر اسلام را حبیبالله قرار داد و بنا بر حکمت خود، بعضی را بر بعضی فضیلت بخشید. ۵۵. زبور داوود(ع) ۸ در این که چرا از میان همه پیامبران» سخن از داوود و زبور به میان آمده» ممکن است به خاطر جهات ذیل باشد: ۱- زبور داوود از میان کتب پیامبران این ویژگی را دارد که تمام آن مناجات و نیایش و اندرز است و با قول احسن و سخن نیکو که در آّیات پیش به آن دستور داده شد»ء از همه مناسب‌تر است. در زبور داوود» خبر از حکومت صالحان و نیکان داده شده؛ هرچند آنان به ظاهر مردمی تهی‌دست و فقیر و یتیم باشند. این همان چیزی است که در أَیةٌ ۱۰۵ سورة انبیا و نیز در کتاب مزامیر داوود (زبور) که امروزه در دست ما استء اشاره شده است.
