وَعَلَّمْنَٰهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَّكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّنۢ بَأْسِكُمْ فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ شَٰكِرُونَ﴿٨٠﴾
English
Saheeh International
And We taught him the fashioning of coats of armor to protect you from your [enemy in] battle. So will you then be grateful?
Ali Quli Qarai
We taught him the making of coats of mail for you, to protect you from your [own] violence. Will you then be grateful?

And We taught him the art of making garments (of mail) to protect you in your daring. Are ye then thankful?

It was We Who taught him the making of coats of mail for your benefit, to guard you from each other's violence: will ye then be grateful?

و به سود شما صنعتِ ساختنِ پوشش های دفاعی را به او آموختیم تا شما را از [آسیب] جنگ تان محافظت نماید، پس آیا شما شکرگزار حق هستید؟

و به [داوود] فن زره [سازی] آموختیم، تا شما را از [خطرات] جنگتان حفظ کند. پس آیا شما سپاسگزارید؟
