مَا وَٱلَّذِينَ أَن وَلَوْ أُو۟لِى مِنۢ مَا لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ ﴿١١٣﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire.

ممنوعیت استغفار برای مشرکان متکبر

یه ۱۱۳ با تعبیری قاطع پیامبر و موْمنان را از استغفار برای مشرکان نهی می‌کند؛ زیرا این کار» درخواست و آرزویی نابجا برای فردی است که به هیچ وجه سزاوار آمرزش نیست و راه نجاتی برای او تصور نمی‌شود. به علاو» طلب آامرزش» نوعی اظهار محبت است که از این کار برای برخی مشرکان به شدت نهی شده و از آن رو که مسلمانان آگاه و آشنا به قرآن در یات آن خوانده بودند که حضرت ابراهیم(ع) برای عمویش ازر استغفار کرده» ممکن بود این سوّال برای آنها پدید اآید که مگر آزر مشرک نبود؛ اگر این کار ممنوع است» چرا آن پیامبر بزرگ خدا انجام داد ۷۴" قرآن به این پندار این‌گونه پاسخ می‌دهد که استغفار حضرت ابراهیم برای عموی مشرک‌اش بدین دلیل بود که او گمان می‌کرد آزر اگر چه مشرک استء با خدا دشمنی و لجاجت ندارد و به هدایت او امید می‌رود. پس» از روی مهربانی به او وعده داد که برایش از خدا طلب امرزش می کند؛ اما هنکامی که برایش روشن شد که او با خدا دشمن است و بر سر شرک و گمراهی‌اش لجاجت داردء از او بیزاری جست.

    They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed…

  • أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ مَن يُحَادِدِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَأَنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدًا فِيهَا ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخِزْىُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

    Do they not know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger - that for him is the fire of Hell, wherein he will abide eternally? That is the great disgrace.

  • فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

    And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze.

  • وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا۟ وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُم مِّنْ عَذَابِهَا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى كُلَّ كَفُورٍ

    And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every…
