97

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فِيمَ فِى أَلَمْ فِيهَا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ جَهَنَّمُ ﴿٩٧﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination.

Tafsīr

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

جان را چه کسی می‌گیرد؟

این آیه» قبض روح را به فرشتگان نسبت می‌دهد؛ در حالی که یه ۴۲ سور زمر می‌فرماید: «خداوند جان‌ها را به هنگام مرگ می‌گیرد.» و در أَیةٌ ۱۱ سورةٌ سجده می‌خوانیم: «بگو فرشتةٌ مرگ که بر شما مأمور شده. جان شما را می‌گیرد.» مفسران در توضیح این مطلب فرموده‌اند که فرشتگان» مأموران فرشتةٌ مرگ یعنی حضرت عزرائیل(ع) هستند و از او فرمان می‌برند و زیر نظر او هستند. عزرائیل(ع) نیز از طرف خدا مأمور گرفتن جان‌هاست. پس نسبت دادن قبض روح به هر سهٌ اینها درست است؛ مانند این که می‌توانیم ساخت بنایی راء هم به کارگرهاء هم به مهندس ناظر و هم به مالک اصلی نسبت دهیم.

  • مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

    Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire

  • ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ يَقُولُونَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

    The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do."

  • وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُۥ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِى وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۢ بِئْسَ لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ بَدَلًا

    And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you…
