أَفَلَمْ أَمْ مَّا لَمْ ﴿٦٨﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers?

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

دین الهی؛ موهبتی در تمام زمان‌ها

منظور از جملةٌ «ام جاءهم ما لم یأت آباءهم الاولین» بدین معنی است که اگر توحید و معاد و دعوت به نیکی‌ها و پاکی‌ها تنها از ناحیةٌ پیامبر اسلام مطرح شده بود» ممکن بود بهانه کنند که اینها سخنان نوظهوری است که ما نمی‌توانیم زیر بار آن برویم و اگر این مطالب حق است.» چرا خدا که به همةٌ انسان‌ها نظر لطف و مرحمت داردء برای پیامبران گذشته نفرستاد؛ ولی محتوای دعوت پیامبر از نظر اصول و اساس» همان محتوای دعوت همةٌ پیامبران گذشته است و دیگر چنین بهانه‌هایی جا ندارد. البته معنای این سخن این نیست که هر حرف نوظهوری که گذشتگان از آن بی‌اطلاع بوده‌اند باطل است؛ ولی رسالت الهی چون هدف هدایت انسان‌ها استء باید به تمام انسان‌ها برسد تا همگان امکان انتخاب راه حق را داشته باشند و اگر به گذشتگان ابلاغ نشده باشدء ابلاغ آن به جمعیتی خاص, بی‌شک باطل و نادرست است.

    So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed.

  • أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ كِتَٰبًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ

    Or have We given them a book before the Qur'an to which they are adhering?

  • بَلِ ٱدَّٰرَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ
