آمدن خدا!

تعبیر «جاء ربک» کنایه از فرا رسیدن فرمان خدا برای رسیدگی به حساب خلایق یا ظهور آیات عظمت و نشانه‌های خداوند یا ظهور کامل معرفت به پروردگار در آن روز است؛ به گونه‌ای که جای انکار برای هیچ کس باقی نمی‌ماند؛ گویی همه ذات بی‌مثالش را با چشم مشاهده می‌کنند. به هر حال مسلم است که آمدن خداوند به معنای حقیقی کلمه که لازمهٌ آن جسم بودن و انتقال در مکان استء معنی ندارد؛ چرا که او از جسم و خواص آن مبرا است. همین معنی با صراحت در حدیثی از امام رضا(ع) نقل شده است.

    Of it there is no preventer.

  • قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ

    He will say, "Would you [care to] look?"
