[That occurred] when the messengers had come to them before them and after them, [saying], "Worship not except Allah." They said, "If our Lord had willed, He would have sent down the angels, so indeed we, in that with which you have been sent, are disbelievers."

When the apostles came to them, before them and in their own time, saying, ‘Worship no one except Allah!’ They said, ‘Had our Lord wished, He would have sent down angels [to us]. We indeed disbelieve in what you have been sent with.’

When their messengers came unto them from before them and behind them, saying: Worship none but Allah! they said: If our Lord had willed, He surely would have sent down angels (unto us), so lo! we are disbelievers in that wherewith ye have been sent.

Behold, the messengers came to them, from before them and behind them, (preaching): "Serve none but Allah." They said, "If our Lord had so pleased, He would certainly have sent down angels (to preach). Now we reject your mission (altogether)."

When the Messengers came unto them from before them and from behind them, saying, 'Serve none but God,' they said, 'Had our Lord willed, surely He would have sent down angels; so we disbelieve in the Message you were sent with.'

هنگامی که پیامبران از پیش رو و پشت سرشان به سوی آنان آمدند [و گفتند:] که جز خدا را نپرستید. گفتند: اگر پروردگار ما می خواست [که ما مؤمن شویم و او را بپرستیم] فرشتگانی نازل می کرد [تا دعوتش را به ما ابلاغ کنند]؛ بنابراین ما به آنچه شما به آن فرستاده شده اید، کافریم.

چون فرستادگان [ما] از پیش رو و از پشت سرشان بر آنان آمدند [و گفتند:] «زنهار، جز خدا را مپرستید»، گفتند: «اگر پروردگار ما می‌خواست، قطعاً فرشتگانی فرومی‌فرستاد، پس ما به آنچه بدان فرستاده شده‌اید کافریم.»

Onlara, önlerinden, artlarından, her yönden: "Allah'tan başkasına kulluk etmeyin" diyen peygamberler gelmişti: "Eğer Rabbimiz böyle bir şey dileseydi melekler indirirdi. Doğrusu sizinle gönderileni inkar ederiz" demişlerdi.

Ketika para rasul datang kepada mereka dari depan dan belakang mereka (dengan menyerukan): "Janganlah kamu menyembah selain Allah". Mereka menjawab: "Kalau Tuhan kami menghendaki tentu Dia akan menurunkan malaikat-malaikat-Nya, maka sesungguhnya kami kafir kepada wahyu yang kamu diutus membawanya".

جب ان کے پاس سامنے اور پیچھے سے ہمارے نمائندے آئے کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کسی کی عبادت نہ کرو تو انہوں نے کہہ دیا کہ ہمارا خدا چاہتا تو ملائکہ کو نازل کرتا ہم تمہارے پیغام کے قبول کرنے والے نہیں ہیں

যখন তাদের কাছে রসূলগণ এসেছিলেন সম্মুখ দিক থেকে এবং পিছন দিক থেকে এ কথা বলতে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কারও পূজা করো না। তারা বলেছিল, আমাদের পালনকর্তা ইচ্ছা করলে অবশ্যই ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করতেন, অতএব, আমরা তোমাদের আনীত বিষয় অমান্য করলাম।
