And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.

They ask you to hasten the punishment. Yet were it not for a specified time, the punishment would have surely overtaken them. Surely, it will overtake them suddenly while they are unaware.

They bid thee hasten on the doom (of Allah). And if a term had not been appointed, the doom would assuredly have come unto them (ere now). And verily it will come upon them suddenly when they perceive not.

They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment (for them): had it not been for a term (of respite) appointed, the Punishment would certainly have come to them: and it will certainly reach them,- of a sudden, while they perceive not!

And they demand of thee to hasten the chastisement! But for a stated term the chastisement would have come upon them; but it shall come upon them suddenly, when they are not aware.

آنان شتاب در آوردن عذاب را از تو می خواهند، اگر مدتی معین [برای آنان] مقرّر نبود، قطعاً آن عذاب را [که خواهانش هستند] بر آنان می آمد و حتماً ناگاه در حالی که بی خبرند، به سراغشان خواهد آمد.

و از تو به شتاب درخواست عذاب [الهی را] دارند، و اگر سرآمدی معین نبود، قطعاً عذاب به آنان می‌رسید و بی‌آنکه خبردار شوند غافلگیرشان می‌کرد.

Senden azabı acele bekliyorlar. Eğer süre belirtilmiş olmasaydı azap onlara hemen gelirdi. Ama yine de onlar farkına varmadan başlarına ansızın gelecektir.

Dan mereka meminta kepadamu supaya segera diturunkan azab. Kalau tidaklah karena waktu yang telah ditetapkan, benar-benar telah datang azab kepada mereka, dan azab itu benar-benar akan datang kepada mereka dengan tiba-tiba, sedang mereka tidak menyadarinya.

اور یہ لوگ عذاب کی جلدی کررہے ہیں حالانکہ اگر اس کا وقت معین نہ ہوتا تو اب تک عذاب آچکا ہوتا اور وہ اچانک ہی آئے گا جب انہیں شعور بھی نہ ہوگا

তারা আপনাকে আযাব ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে। যদি আযাবের সময় নির্ধারিত না থাকত, তবে আযাব তাদের উপর এসে যেত। নিশ্চয়ই আকস্মিকভাবে তাদের কাছে আযাব এসে যাবে, তাদের খবরও থাকবে না।
