And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

Do not argue with the People of the Book except in a manner which is best, except such of them as are wrongdoers, and say, ‘We believe in what has been sent down to us and in what has been sent down to you; our God and your God is one [and the same], and to Him do we submit.’

And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our Allah and your Allah is One, and unto Him we surrender.

And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)."

Dispute not with the People of the Book save in the fairer manner, except for those of them that do wrong; and say, 'We believe in what has been sent down to us, and what has been sent down to you; our God and your God is One, and to Him we have surrendered.'

و با اهل کتاب جز با نیکوترین شیوه مجادله و گفتگو مکنید، مگر با کسانی از آنان که [در مجادله با شما] ظالمانه به میدان آیند، و بگویید: به آنچه به سوی ما و به سوی شما نازل شده است، ایمان داریم و معبود ما و معبود شما یکی است و ما تسلیم [فرمان ها و احکام] او هستیم.

و با اهل کتاب، جز به [شیوه‌ای‌] که بهتر است، مجادله مکنید -مگر [با] کسانی از آنان که ستم کرده‌اند- و بگویید: «به آنچه به سوی ما نازل شده و [آنچه‌] به سوی شما نازل گردیده، ایمان آوردیم؛ و خدای ما و خدای شما یکی است و ما تسلیم اوییم.»

Kitap ehlinden zulmedenler bir yana, onlarla en güzel şekilde mücadele edin, şöyle deyin: "Bize indirilene de, size indirilene de inandık; bizim Tanrımız da, sizin Tanrınız da birdir, biz O'na teslim olmuşuzdur."

Dan janganlah kamu berdebat denganAhli Kitab, melainkan dengan cara yang paling baik, kecuali dengan orang-orang zalim di antara mereka, dan katakanlah: "Kami telah beriman kepada (kitab-kitab) yang diturunkan kepada kami dan yang diturunkan kepadamu; Tuhan kami dan Tuhanmu adalah satu; dan kami hanya kepada-Nya berserah diri".

اور اہلِ کتاب سے مناطرہ نہ کرو مگر اس انداز سے جو بہترین انداز ہے علاوہ ان سے جو ان میں سے ظالم ہیں اور یہ کہو کہ ہم اس پر ایمان لائے ہیں جو ہماری اور تمہاری دونوں کی طرف نازل ہوا ہے اور ہمارا اور تمہارا خدا ایک ہی ہے اور ہم سب اسی کے اطاعت گزار ہیں

তোমরা কিতাবধারীদের সাথে তর্ক-বিতর্ক করবে না, কিন্তু উত্তম পন্থায়; তবে তাদের সাথে নয়, যারা তাদের মধ্যে বে-ইনসাফ। এবং বল, আমাদের প্রতি ও তোমাদের প্রতি যা নাযিল করা হয়েছে, তাতে আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমাদের উপাস্য ও তোমাদের উপাস্য একই এবং আমরা তাঁরই আজ্ঞাবহ।
