And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby.

Were you to see them when they will be stricken with terror, without any escape, and are seized from a close quarter.

Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand,

If thou couldst but see when they will quake with terror; but then there will be no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a position (quite) near.

Ah, if thou couldst see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a place near at hand,

و اگر ببینی [مشرکان] زمانی که [با ظهور قیامت] ترسان و وحشت زده می شوند [امر عجیبی می بینی] و [آن اینکه برای آنان] توانایی [گریز از عذاب] نیست، و از جایی نزدیک [که موقف قیامت است] بازداشت می شوند.

و ای کاش می‌دیدی هنگامی را که [کافران‌] وحشت‌زده‌اند [آنجا که راهِ‌] گریزی نمانده است و از جایی نزدیک گرفتار آمده‌اند.

Onları korktukları zaman bir görsen; artık kurtuluş yoktur, cehenneme yakın bir yerde yakalanmışlardır. O zaman, "Allah'a inandık" derler ama, ahiret gibi uzak bir yerden imana nasıl kolayca ulaşırlar?

Dan (alangkah hebatnya) jikalau kamu melihat ketika mereka (orang-orang kafir) terperanjat ketakutan (pada hari kiamat); maka mereka tidak dapat melepaskan diri dan mereka ditangkap dari tempat yang dekat (untuk dibawa ke neraka),

اور کاش آپ دیکھئے کہ یہ گھبرائے ہوئے ہوں گے اور بچ نہ سکیں گے اور بہت قریب سے پکڑلئے جائیں گے

যদি আপনি দেখতেন, যখন তারা ভীতসস্ত্রস্ত হয়ে পড়বে, অতঃপর পালিয়েও বাঁচতে পারবে না এবং নিকটবর্তী স্থান থেকে ধরা পড়বে।
