But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in repentance]. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do.

But if they urge you to ascribe to Me as partner that of which you have no knowledge, then do not obey them. Keep their company honourably in this world and follow the way of those who turn to Me penitently. Then to Me will be your return, whereat I will inform you concerning what you used to do.

But if they strive with thee to make thee ascribe unto Me as partner that of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Consort with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who repenteth unto Me. Then unto Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what ye used to do -

"But if they strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration), and follow the way of those who turn to me (in love): in the end the return of you all is to Me, and I will tell you the truth (and meaning) of all that ye did."

But if they strive with thee to make thee associate with Me that whereof thou hast no knowledge, then do not obey them. Keep them company honourable in this world; but follow the way of him who turns to Me. Then unto Me you shall return, and I shall tell you what you were doing.')

و اگر آن دو نفر تلاش کنند تا بر پایه جهالت و نادانی [و بدون معرفت و دانش که روشنگر حقایق است] چیزی را شریک من قرار دهی، از آنان اطاعت مکن؛ ولی در دنیا با آن دو نفر به شیوه ای پسندیده معاشرت کن و راه کسی را پیروی کن که [با توبه و ایمان و اخلاص] به من بازگشته است؛ سپس بازگشت شما فقط به سوی من است، پس شما را از آنچه انجام می دادید، آگاه می کنم.

و اگر تو را وادارند تا در باره چیزی که تو را بدان دانشی نیست به من شرک ورزی، از آنان فرمان مبر، و[لی‌] در دنیا به خوبی با آنان معاشرت کن، و راه کسی را پیروی کن که توبه‌کنان به سوی من بازمی‌گردد؛ و [سرانجام‌] بازگشت شما به سوی من است، و از [حقیقت‌] آنچه انجام می‌دادید شما را با خبر خواهم کرد.

Ey insanoğlu! Ana baba, seni, körü körüne Bana ortak koşman için zorlarlarsa, onlara itaat etme; dünya işlerinde onlarla güzel geçin; Bana yönelen kimsenin yoluna uy; sonunda dönüşünüz Bana'dır. O zaman, yaptıklarınızı size bildiririm.

Dan jika keduanya memaksamu untuk mempersekutukan dengan Aku sesuatu yang tidak ada pengetahuanmu tentang itu, maka janganlah kamu mengikuti keduanya, dan pergaulilah keduanya di dunia dengan baik, dan ikutilah jalan orang yang kembali kepada-Ku, kemudian hanya kepada-Kulah kembalimu, maka Kuberitakan kepadamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan.

اور اگر تمہارے ماں باپ اس بات پر زور دیں کہ کسی ایسی چیز کو میرا شریک بناؤ جس کا تمہیں علم نہیں ہے تو خبردار ان کی اطاعت نہ کرنا لیکن دنیا میں ان کے ساتھ نیکی کا برتاؤ کرنا اور اس کے راستے کو اختیار کرنا جو میری طرف متوجہ ہو پھر اس کے بعد تم سب کی بازگشت میری ہی طرف ہے اور اس وقت میں بتاؤں گا کہ تم لوگ کیا کررہے تھے

পিতা-মাতা যদি তোমাকে আমার সাথে এমন বিষয়কে শরীক স্থির করতে পীড়াপীড়ি করে, যার জ্ঞান তোমার নেই; তবে তুমি তাদের কথা মানবে না এবং দুনিয়াতে তাদের সাথে সদ্ভাবে সহঅবস্থান করবে। যে আমার অভিমুখী হয়, তার পথ অনুসরণ করবে। অতঃপর তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন আমারই দিকে এবং তোমরা যা করতে, আমি সে বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে জ্ঞাত করবো।
