And when Our messengers, [the angels], came to Lot, he was anguished for them and felt for them great discomfort and said, "This is a trying day."

When Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed on their account and in a predicament for their sake, and he said, ‘This is a terrible day!’

And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was distressed and knew not how to protect them. He said: This is a distressful day.

When Our messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account and felt himself powerless (to protect) them. He said: "This is a distressful day."

And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was troubled on their account and distressed for them, and he said, 'This is a fierce day.'

و هنگامی که فرستادگان ما نزد لوط آمدند، به سبب آمدنشان تنگدل و اندوهگین شد؛ [زیرا خود را برای دفع خطر از مهمانانش در برابر قوم تبهکارش توانمند نیافت،] وگفت: این روز سخت و دشواری است.

و چون فرستادگان ما نزد لوط آمدند، به [آمدنِ‌] آنان ناراحت، و دستش از حمایت ایشان کوتاه شد و گفت: «امروز، روزی سخت است.»

Elçilerimiz Lut'a gelince, onun fenasına gitti; çok sıkıldı, "Bu çetin bir gündür" dedi.

Dan tatkala datang utusan-utusan Kami (para malaikat) itu kepada Luth, dia merasa susah dan merasa sempit dadanya karena kedatangan mereka, dan dia berkata: "Ini adalah hari yang amat sulit".

اور جب ہمارے فرستادے لوط کے پاس پہنچے تو وہ ان کے خیال سے رنجیدہ ہوئے اور تنگ دل ہوگئے اور کہا کہ یہ بڑا سخت دن ہے

আর যখন আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ লূত (আঃ) এর নিকট উপস্থিত হল। তখন তাঁদের আগমনে তিনি দুচিন্তাগ্রস্ত হলেন এবং তিনি বলতে লাগলেন, আজ অত্যন্ত কঠিন দিন।
