  • بَلْ هُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ

    But they, that Day, are in surrender.

  • وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

    And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are my 'partners' which you used to claim?"

  • وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ

    And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.

  • قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُۥ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَٰذَا فَسْـَٔلُوهُمْ إِن كَانُوا۟ يَنطِقُونَ

    He said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak."
