O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.

O you who have faith! Do not approach prayer when you are intoxicated, [not] until you know what you are saying, nor [enter mosques] in the state of ritual impurity until you have washed yourselves, except while passing through. But if you are sick or on a journey, or any of you has come from the toilet, or you have touched women, and you cannot find water, then make your ablution on clean ground and wipe a part of your faces and your hands. Indeed Allah is all-excusing, all-forgiving.

O ye who believe! Draw not near unto prayer when ye are drunken, till ye know that which ye utter, nor when ye are polluted, save when journeying upon the road, till ye have bathed. And if ye be ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have touched women, and ye find not water, then go to high clean soil and rub your faces and your hands (therewith). Lo! Allah is Benign, Forgiving.

O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.

O believers, draw not near to prayer when you are drunken until you know what you are saying, or defiled -- unless you are traversing a way -- until you have washed yourselves; but if you are sick, or on a journey, or if any of you comes from the privy, or you have touched women, and you can find no water, then have recourse to wholesome dust and wipe your faces and your hands; God is All-pardoning, All-forgiving.

ای اهل ایمان! در حالی که مستید به نماز نزدیک نشوید تا زمانی که [مستیِ شما برطرف شود و از روی هوشیاری] بدانید [که در حال نماز] چه می گویید. و در حال جنابت هم به نماز نزدیک نشوید تا غسل کنید مگر در حال سفر [که آب نیابید، پس با تیمّم نماز بخوانید]. و اگر بیمارید، یا در سفرید، یا یکی از شما از قضای حاجت [دستشویی] آمده، یا با زنان آمیزش کرده اید و آبی [برای وضو یا غسل] نیافتید، به خاکی پاک، تیمم کنید و بخشی از صورت و دست هایتان را [با آن] مسح نمایید؛ یقیناً خدا همواره گذشت کننده و بسیار آمرزنده است.

ای کسانی که ایمان آورده‌اید، در حال مستی به نماز نزدیک نشوید تا زمانی که بدانید چه می‌گویید؛ و [نیز] در حال جنابت [وارد نماز نشوید] -مگر اینکه راهگذر باشید- تا غسل کنید؛ و اگر بیمارید یا در سفرید یا یکی از شما از قضای حاجت آمد یا با زنان آمیزش کرده‌اید و آب نیافته‌اید، پس بر خاکی پاک تیمم کنید، و صورت و دستهایتان را مسح نمایید، که خدا بخشنده و آمرزنده است.

Ey İnananlar! Sarhoşken, ne dediğinizi bilene kadar, cünübken, yolcu olan müstesna gusledene kadar namaza yaklaşmayın. Eğer hasta veya yolculukta iseniz yahut biriniz ayak yolundan gelmişseniz veya kadınlara yaklaşmışsanız ve bu durumlarda su bulamamışsanız tertemiz bir toprağa teyemmüm edin, yüzlerinize ve ellerinize sürün. Allah affeder ve bağışlar.

Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu shalat, sedang kamu dalam keadaan mabuk, sehingga kamu mengerti apa yang kamu ucapkan, (jangan pula hampiri mesjid) sedang kamu dalam keadaan junub, terkecuali sekedar berlalu saja, hingga kamu mandi. Dan jika kamu sakit atau sedang dalam musafir atau datang dari tempat buang air atau kamu telah menyentuh perempuan, kemudian kamu tidak mendapat air, maka bertayamumlah kamu dengan tanah yang baik (suci); sapulah mukamu dan tanganmu. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pemaaf lagi Maha Pengampun.

ایمان والو خبر دار نشہ کی حالت میں نماز کے قریب بھی نہ جانا جب تک یہ ہوش نہ آجائے کہ تم کیا کہہ رہے ہو اور جنابت کی حالت میں بھی مگر یہ کہ راستہ سے گزر رہے ہو جب تک غسل نہ کرلو اور اگر بیمار ہو یا سفر کی حالت میں ہو اور کسی کے پیخانہ نکل آئے, یا عورتوں سے باہمی جنسی ربط قائم ہوجائے اور پانی نہ ملے تو پاک مٹی سے تمیم کرلو اس طرح کہ اپنے چہروں اور ہاتھوں پر مسح کرلو بیشک خدا بہت معاف کرنے والا اور بخشنے والا ہے

হে ঈমাণদারগণ! তোমরা যখন নেশাগ্রস্ত থাক, তখন নামাযের ধারে-কাছেও যেওনা, যতক্ষণ না বুঝতে সক্ষম হও যা কিছু তোমরা বলছ, আর (নামাযের কাছে যেও না) ফরয গোসলের আবস্থায়ও যতক্ষণ না গোসল করে নাও। কিন্তু মুসাফির অবস্থার কথা স্বতন্ত্র আর যদি তোমরা অসুস্থ হয়ে থাক কিংবা সফরে থাক অথবা তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে কেউ যদি প্রস্রাব-পায়খানা থেকে এসে থাকে কিংবা নারী গমন করে থাকে, কিন্তু পরে যদি পানিপ্রাপ্তি সম্ভব না হয়, তবে পাক-পবিত্র মাটির দ্বারা তায়াম্মুম করে নাও-তাতে মুখমন্ডল ও হাতকে ঘষে নাও। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল।
