But We produced [many] generations [after Moses], and prolonged was their duration. And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders [of this message].

But We brought forth other generations and time took its toll on them. You did not dwell among the people of Midian reciting to them Our signs, but it is We who are the senders [of the apostles].

But We brought forth generations, and their lives dragged on for them. And thou wast not a dweller in Midian, reciting unto them Our revelations, but We kept sending (messengers to men).

But We raised up (new) generations, and long were the ages that passed over them; but thou wast not a dweller among the people of Madyan, rehearsing Our Signs to them; but it is We Who send messengers (with inspiration).

but We raised up generations, and long their lives continued. Neither wast thou a dweller among the Midianites, reciting to them Our signs; but We were sending Messengers.

ولی ما ملت هایی را پدید آوردیم، پس روزگار درازی بر آنان گذشت [تا جایی که سرگذشتشان فراموش شد، اکنون ما سرگذشتشان را به تو وحی می کنیم تا برای مردم بیان کنی]. و تو در میان مردم مدین ساکن نبودی تا نشانه های [قدرت و خشم] ما را [که به آنان رسید] بر اینان [که در مکه، آلوده به طغیان و فسادند] بخوانی، ولی ما بودیم که تو را به پیامبری فرستادیم [و سرگذشت مردم مدین را به تو وحی کردیم تا بر آنان بخوانی.]

لیکن ما نسلهایی پدید آوردیم و عمرشان طولانی شد. و تو در میان ساکنان [شهر] مَدْین مقیم نبودی تا آیات ما را بر ایشان بخوانی، لیکن ما بودیم که فرستنده [پیامبران‌] بودیم.

Ama biz nice nesiller var etmiştik. Sen, Medyen halkı arasında bulunup, onlara ayetlerimizi okumuyordun, fakat o haberleri sana gönderen Biziz.

Tetapi Kami telah mengadakan beberapa generasi, dan berlalulah atas mereka masa yang panjang, dan tiadalah kamu tinggal bersama-sama penduduk Mad-yan dengan membacakan ayat-ayat Kami kepada mereka, tetapi Kami telah mengutus rasul-rasul.

لیکن ہم نے بہت سی قوموں کو پیدا کیا پھر ان پر ایک طویل زمانہ گزر گیا اور آپ تو اہل مدین میں بھی مقیم نہیں تھے کہ انہیں ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتے لیکن ہم رسول بنانے والے توتھے

কিন্তু আমি অনেক সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম, অতঃপর তাদের অনেক যুগ অতিবাহিত হয়েছে। আর আপনি মাদইয়ানবাসীদের মধ্যে ছিলেন না যে, তাদের কাছে আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করতেন। কিন্তু আমিই ছিলাম রসূল প্রেরণকারী।
