And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous."

Spend out of what We have provided you before death comes to any of you, whereat he might say, ‘My Lord, why did You not respite me for a short time so that I could give charity and become one of the righteous!’

And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.

and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".

Expend of what We have provided you before that death comes upon one of you and he says, 'O my Lord, if only Thou wouldst defer me unto a near term, so that I may make freewill offering, and so I may become one of the righteous.'

و از آنچه روزی شما کرده ایم انفاق کنید، پیش از آنکه یکی از شما را مرگ در رسد و بگوید: چرا مرا تا مدتی نزدیک مهلت ندادی تا صدقه دهم و از شایستگان باشم؟!

و از آنچه روزی شما گردانیده‌ایم، انفاق کنید، پیش از آنکه یکی از شما را مرگ فرا رسد و بگوید: «پروردگارا، چرا تا مدتی بیشتر [اجل‌] مرا به تأخیر نینداختی تا صدقه دهم و از نیکوکاران باشم؟»

Birine ölüm gelip de: "Rabbim! Beni yakın bir süreye kadar ertelesen de, sadaka versem, iyilerden olsam" diyeceği zaman gelmezden önce, size verdiğimiz rızıklardan sarfedin.

Dan belanjakanlah sebagian dari apa yang telah Kami berikan kepadamu sebelum datang kematian kepada salah seorang di antara kamu; lalu ia berkata: "Ya Rabb-ku, mengapa Engkau tidak menangguhkan (kematian)ku sampai waktu yang dekat, yang menyebabkan aku dapat bersedekah dan aku termasuk orang-orang yang saleh?"

اور جو رزق ہم نے عطا کیا ہے اس میں سے ہماری راہ میں خرچ کرو قبل اس کے کہ تم میں سے کسی کو موت آجائے اور وہ یہ کہے کہ خدایا ہمیں تھوڑے دنوں کی مہلت کیوں نہیں دے دیتا ہے کہ ہم خیرات نکالیں اور نیک بندوں میں شامل ہوجائیں

আমি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে মৃত্যু আসার আগেই ব্যয় কর। অন্যথায় সে বলবেঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে আরও কিছুকাল অবকাশ দিলে না কেন? তাহলে আমি সদকা করতাম এবং সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম।
