67

هُمْ فَلَا فِى إِلَىٰ إِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ ﴿٦٧﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

For every religion We have appointed rites which they perform. So, [O Muhammad], let the disbelievers not contend with you over the matter but invite them to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

فلسفةٌ عبادات جدید در ادیان آسمانی

منظور از همه امت‌ها در این آیه» امت‌های گذشته است که یکی پس از دیگری آمده تا به امت اسلام منتهی شده است؛ نه امت‌های گوناگون زمان رسول خدا(ص) از قبیل عرب و عجم و روم. جملةٌ «فلا ینازعنک فی الامر»» مشرکان و منکران دعوت پیامبر را هی می‌کند از این که در عبادتی که او آورده با او نزاع کنند. گویا کافران از اهل کتاب یا مشرکان وقتی برخی از عبادات اسلامی را می‌دیدند که برای آنها نوظهور بوده - چون مشابه آن را در ادیان گذشته مانند دین یهود ندیده بودند - با پیامبر به جدل می‌پرداختند که این عبادت را از کجا آورده‌ای؛ در حالی که مانند آن را در هیچ‌یک از ادیان گذشته ندیده‌ایم و اگر تو که آورندةٌ این عبادتی, واقعاً پیامبر بودی» می‌بایست مردم خداپرست که بر ادیان گذشته‌اند. آن را می‌شناختند. خداوند در پاسخ به ایراد آنها می‌فرماید: هر امتی از امت‌های گذشته» عبادات ویژه‌ای داشتند که بدان صورت خدا را عبادت می‌کردند. عبادت هیچ امتی به امت دیگر منتقل نمی‌شده؛ چون خداوند با هر شریعت تازه» شرایع قبلی را نسخ می‌کرد و بهتر از آن را می‌آورد؛ زیرا افکار امت‌های بعدی» پیشرفته‌تر از قبلی‌ها بود و آنان استعداد عباداتی کامل‌تر و بهتر از سابق را یافته بودند. پس دیگر معنی ندارد شما با پیامبر بحث و جدل کنید که به چه علت عبادات دین او شبیه به عبادات امت‌های گذشته نیست.
