And [recall] when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, [enjoining upon them], "Do not worship except Allah; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah." Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing.

When We took a pledge from the Children of Israel, [saying]: ‘Worship no one but Allah, do good to your parents, relatives, orphans, and the needy, speak kindly to people, maintain the prayer, and give the zakat,’ you turned away, except a few of you, and you were disregardful.

And (remember) when We made a covenant with the Children of Israel, (saying): Worship none save Allah (only), and be good to parents and to kindred and to orphans and the needy, and speak kindly to mankind; and establish worship and pay the poor-due. Then, after that, ye slid back, save a few of you, being averse.

And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).

And when We took compact with the Children of Israel: 'You shall not serve any save God; and to be good to parents, and the near kinsman, and to orphans, and to the needy; and speak good to men, and perform the prayer, and pay the alms.' Then you turned away, all but a few of you, swerving aside.

و [یاد کنید] زمانی که از بنی اسرائیل پیمان گرفتیم که جز خدا را نپرستید، و به پدر و مادر و خویشان ویتیمان ومستمندان نیکی کنید، و با مردم با خوش زبانی سخن گویید، و نماز را بر پا دارید، و زکات بپردازید، سپس همه شما جز اندکی [از پیمان خدا] روی گردانیدید؛ و شما [به طور عادت] روی گردان هستید.

و چون از فرزندان اسرائیل پیمان محکم گرفتیم که: «جز خدا را نپرستید، و به پدر و مادر، و خویشان و یتیمان و مستمندان احسان کنید، و با مردم [به زبان‌] خوش سخن بگویید، و نماز را به پا دارید، و زکات را بدهید»؛ آنگاه، جز اندکی از شما، [همگی‌] به حالت اعراض روی برتافتید.

İsrailoğullarından, "Allah'tan başkasına kulluk etmeyin, anne babaya, yakınlara, yetimlere, düşkünlere iyilik edin, insanlarla güzel güzel konuşun, namazı kılın, zekatı verin" diye söz almıştık. Sonra siz pek azınız müstesna, döndünüz; hala da yüz çevirip duruyorsunuz.

Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami mengambil janji dari Bani Israil (yaitu): Janganlah kamu menyembah selain Allah, dan berbuat kebaikanlah kepada ibu bapa, kaum kerabat, anak-anak yatim, dan orang-orang miskin, serta ucapkanlah kata-kata yang baik kepada manusia, dirikanlah shalat dan tunaikanlah zakat. Kemudian kamu tidak memenuhi janji itu, kecuali sebahagian kecil daripada kamu, dan kamu selalu berpaling.

اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد لیا کہ خبردار خدا کے علاوہ کسی کی عبادت نہ کرنا اور ماں باپً قرابتداروںً یتیموں اور مسکینوں کے ساتھ اچھا برتاؤ کرنا. لوگوں سے اچھی باتیں کرناً نماز قائم کرناًزکوِٰ ادا کرنا لیکن اس کے بعد تم میں سے چند کے علاوہ سب منحرف ہوگئے اور تم لوگ تو بس اعراض کرنے والے ہی ہو

যখন আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিলাম যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারও উপাসনা করবে না, পিতা-মাতা, আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম ও দীন-দরিদ্রদের সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করবে, মানুষকে সৎ কথাবার্তা বলবে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করবে এবং যাকাত দেবে, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলে, তোমরাই অগ্রাহ্যকারী।
