Do they await except its result? The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than we used to do?" They will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

Do they not consider [the consequences of] its fulfillment? The day when its fulfillment comes, those who had forgotten it before will say, ‘Our Lord’s apostles had certainly brought the truth. If only we had some intercessors to intercede for us, or we would be returned, so that we may do differently from what we did!’ They have certainly ruined their souls, and what they used to fabricate has forsaken them.

Await they aught save the fulfilment thereof? On the day when the fulfilment thereof cometh, those who were before forgetful thereof will say: The messengers of our Lord did bring the Truth! Have we any intercessors, that they may intercede for us? Or can we be returned (to life on earth), that we may act otherwise than we used to act? They have lost their souls, and that which they devised hath failed them.

Do they just wait for the final fulfilment of the event? On the day the event is finally fulfilled, those who disregarded it before will say: "The messengers of our Lord did indeed bring true (tidings). Have we no intercessors now to intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back? then should we behave differently from our behaviour in the past." In fact they will have lost their souls, and the things they invented will leave them in the lurch.

Do they look for aught else but its interpretation? The day its interpretation comes, those who before forgot it shall say, 'Indeed, our Lord's Messengers came with the truth. Have we then any intercessors to intercede for us, or shall we be returned, to do other than that we have done?' They have indeed lost their souls, and that which they were forging has gone astray from them.

آیا [منکران قرآن برای باور کردن آن] جز تحقّق وعده هایش را انتظار می برند؟! روزی که حقایق بیان شده در آن [به صورتی ظاهر و آشکار] بیاید، کسانی که از پیش، آن را فراموش کرده بودند، می گویند: یقیناً فرستادگان پروردگارمان حق را آوردند [ولی ما آن را نپذیرفتیم،] پس آیا [در چنین روزی] شفاعت کنندگانی برای ما هست که ما را شفاعت کنند یا [به دنیا] بازگردانده می شویم تا کاری غیر آنچه انجام می دادیم، انجام دهیم؟! به راستی آنان [سرمایه] وجودشان را تباه کردند و آنچه را به دروغ [به عنوان شریک خدا به خدا] نسبت می دادند [از دستشان رفت و] گم شد.

آیا [آنان‌] جز در انتظار تأویل آنند؟ روزی که تأویلش فرا رسد، کسانی که آن را پیش از آن به فراموشی سپرده‌اند می‌گویند: «حقاً فرستادگان پروردگار ما حق را آوردند. پس آیا [امروز] ما را شفاعتگرانی هست که برای ما شفاعت کنند یا [ممکن است به دنیا] بازگردانیده شویم، تا غیر از آنچه انجام می‌دادیم انجام دهیم؟» به راستی که [آنان‌] به خویشتن زیان زدند، و آنچه را به دروغ می‌ساختند از کف دادند.

Kitap'ın haber verdiği sonuçtan başka bir şey mi bekliyorlar? Sonuç gelip çattığı gün, önceleri onu unutmuş olanlar, "Rabbimizin peygamberleri şüphesiz bize gerçeği getirmişti, şimdi bize şefaat etsin, yahut geriye çevrilsek de işlediklerimizin başka türlüsünü işlesek" derler. Doğrusu kendilerini mahvetmişlerdir, uydurdukları şeyler onları koyup kaçmışlardır.

Tiadalah mereka menunggu-nunggu kecuali (terlaksananya kebenaran) Al Quran itu. Pada hari datangnya kebenaran pemberitaan Al Quran itu, berkatalah orang-orang yang melupakannya sebelum itu: "Sesungguhnya telah datang rasul-rasul Tuhan kami membawa yang hak, maka adakah bagi kami pemberi syafa'at yang akan memberi syafa'at bagi kami, atau dapatkah kami dikembalikan (ke dunia) sehingga kami dapat beramal yang lain dari yang pernah kami amalkan?". Sungguh mereka telah merugikan diri mereka sendiri dan telah lenyaplah dari mereka tuhan-tuhan yang mereka ada-adakan.

کیا یہ لوگ صرف انجام کار کا انتظار کررہے ہیں تو جس دن انجام سامنے آجائے گا تو جو لوگ پہلے سے اسے بھولے ہوئے تھے وہ کہنے لگیں گے کہ بیشک ہمارے پروردگار کے رسول صحیح ہی پیغام لائے تھے تو کیا ہمارے لئے بھی شفیع ہیں جو ہماری سفارش کریں یا ہمیں واپس کردیا جائے تو ہم جو اعمال کرتے تھے اس کے علاوہ دوسرے قسم کے اعمال کریں -درحقیقت ان لوگوں نے اپنے کو خسارہ میں ڈال دیا ہے اور ان کی ساری افترا پردازیاں غائب ہوگئی ہیں

তারা কি এখন এ অপেক্ষায়ই আছে যে, এর বিষয়বস্তু প্রকাশিত হোক? যেদিন এর বিষয়বস্তু প্রকাশিত হবে, সেদিন পূর্বে যারা একে ভূলে গিয়েছিল, তারা বলবেঃ বাস্তবিকই আমাদের প্রতিপালকের পয়গম্বরগণ সত্যসহ আগমন করেছিলেন। অতএব, আমাদের জন্যে কোন সুপারিশকারী আছে কি যে, সুপারিশ করবে অথবা আমাদেরকে পুনঃ প্রেরণ করা হলে আমরা পূর্বে যা করতাম তার বিপরীত কাজ করে আসতাম। নিশ্চয় তারা নিজেদেরকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করেছে। তারা মনগড়া যা বলত, তা উধাও হয়ে যাবে।
