هُنَالِكَ مَّآ إِلَى عَنْهُم مَّا ﴿٣٠﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah, their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

قیامت؛ روز چشیدن و سنجش اعمال

این آیه می‌فرماید که انسان‌ها در قیامتء اعمال خود را می‌سنجند. همان‌طور که محصول کشاورزی با چشیدن آزمایش می‌شود تا کال یا رسیده بودن آن مشخص و همچنین مزة آن معلوم گرد عمل انسان نیز در قیامت به آزمایش گذاشته می‌شود و انسان آن را می‌چشد تا بف‌همد شیرین است یا تلخ. چه بسا کرداری که در دنیا شیرین جلوه کرده» در قیامت تلخ می‌نماید یا بر عکس؛ زیرا در روایات آمده است: «بهشت با ناگواری‌ها و دوزخ با شهوات پوشانده شده است.» از این رو قرآن می‌فرماید: «در آنجا هر کس عملی را که انجام داده است. می‌سنجد.»

    And those before them had plotted, but to Allah belongs the plan entirely. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.

  • وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

    And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly.

  • وَأَلْقَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلسَّلَمَ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

    And they will impart to Allah that Day [their] submission, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

  • يَوْمَ تَأْتِى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَٰدِلُ عَن نَّفْسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

    On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged.

  • وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

    And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to Allah, and lost from them is that which they used to…
