And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in penalty."

When Satan made their deeds seem decorous to them, and said [to the faithless], ‘No one shall overcome you today from among all mankind, and I will stand by you.’ But when the two hosts sighted each other, he took to his heels, saying, ‘Indeed I am quit of you. I see what you do not see. Indeed I fear Allah, and Allah is severe in retribution.’

And when Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and said: No-one of mankind can conquer you this day, for I am your protector. But when the armies came in sight of one another, he took flight, saying: Lo! I am guiltless of you. Lo! I see that which ye see not. Lo! I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in punishment.

Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment."

And when Satan decked out their deeds fair to them, and said, 'Today no man shall overcome you, for I shall be your neighbour.' But when the two hosts sighted each other, he withdrew upon his heels, saying, 'I am quit of you; for I see what you do not see. I fear God; and God is terrible in retribution.'

و [یاد کنید] هنگامی را که شیطان اعمالشان را [که در راه دشمنی با پیامبر و لشکرکشی بر ضد اهل ایمان بود] در نظرشان آراست و گفت: امروز [به سبب جمعیت بسیار و آرایش جنگی شما] هیچ کس از مردمان [با ایمان] پیروز شونده بر شما نیست، و من پناه دهنده به شمایم، ولی زمانی که دو گروه [مؤمن و مشرک] با یکدیگر برخورد کردند، به عقب برگشت و پا به فرار گذاشت، و گفت: من از شما [یاران و پیروانم] بیزارم، من چیزی را [چون نزول فرشتگان] می بینم که شما نمی بینید، البته من از خدا می ترسم و خدا سخت کیفر است.

و [یاد کن‌] هنگامی را که شیطان اعمال آنان را برایشان بیاراست و گفت: «امروز هیچ کس از مردم بر شما پیروز نخواهد شد، و من پناه شما هستم.» پس هنگامی که دو گروه، یکدیگر را دیدند [شیطان‌] به عقب برگشت و گفت: «من از شما بیزارم، من چیزی را می‌بینم که شما نمی‌بینید، من از خدا بیمناکم.» و خدا سخت‌کیفر است.

Şeytan onlara işlediklerini güzel gösterdi ve "Bugün insanlardan sizi yenecek kimse yoktur; doğrusu ben de size yardımcıyım" dedi. İki ordu karşılaşınca da, geri dönüp, "Benim sizinle ilgim yok; doğrusu sizin görmediğinizi ben görüyorum ve şüphesiz Allah'tan korkuyorum, Allah'ın azabı şiddetlidir" dedi.

Dan ketika syaitan menjadikan mereka memandang baik pekerjaan mereka dan mengatakan: "Tidak ada seorang manusiapun yang dapat menang terhadapmu pada hari ini, dan sesungguhnya saya ini adalah pelindungmu". Maka tatkala kedua pasukan itu telah dapat saling lihat melihat (berhadapan), syaitan itu balik ke belakang seraya berkata: "Sesungguhnya saya berlepas diri daripada kamu, sesungguhnya saya dapat melihat apa yang kamu sekalian tidak dapat melihat; sesungguhnya saya takut kepada Allah". Dan Allah sangat keras siksa-Nya.

اور اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب شیطان نے ان کے لئے ان کے اعمال کو آراستہ کردیا اور کہا کہ آج کوئی تم پر غالب آنے والا نہیں ہے اور میں تمہارا مددگار ہوں -اس کے بعد جب دونوں گروہ آمنے سامنے آئے تو الٹے پاؤں بھاگ نکلا اور کہا کہ میں تم لوگوں سے بری ہوں میں وہ دیکھ رہا ہوں جو تم نہیں دیکھ رہے ہو اور میں اللہ سے ڈرتا ہوں کہ وہ سخت عذاب کرنے والا ہے

আর যখন সুদৃশ্য করে দিল শয়তান তাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কার্যকলাপকে এবং বলল যে, আজকের দিনে কোন মানুষই তোমাদের উপর বিজয়ী হতে পারবে না আর আমি হলাম তোমাদের সমর্থক, অতঃপর যখন সামনাসামনী হল উভয় বাহিনী তখন সে অতি দ্রুত পায়ে পেছনে দিকে পালিয়ে গেল এবং বলল, আমি তোমাদের সাথে না-আমি দেখছি, যা তোমরা দেখছ না; আমি ভয় করি আল্লাহকে। আর আল্লাহর আযাব অত্যন্ত কঠিন।
