Already there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met - one fighting in the cause of Allah and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their [own] number by [their] eyesight. But Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision.

There was certainly a sign for you in the two hosts that met: one host fighting in the way of Allah and the other faithless, who saw them as visibly twice as many. Allah strengthens whomever He wishes with His help. There is indeed a moral in that for those who have insight.

There was a token for you in two hosts which met: one army fighting in the way of Allah, and another disbelieving, whom they saw as twice their number, clearly, with their very eyes. Thus Allah strengtheneth with His succour whom He will. Lo! herein verily is a lesson for those who have eyes.

"There has already been for you a Sign in the two armies that met (in combat): One was fighting in the cause of Allah, the other resisting Allah; these saw with their own eyes Twice their number. But Allah doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth. In this is a warning for such as have eyes to see."

There has already been a sign for you in the two companies that encountered, one company fighting in the way of God and another unbelieving; they saw them twice the like of them, as the eye sees, but God confirms with His help whom He will. Surely in that is a lesson for men possessed of eyes.

تحقیقاً برای شما در دو گروهی که [در جنگ بدر] با هم رو به رو شدند، نشانه ای [از قدرت خدا و حقّانیّت نبوّت پیامبر] بود، گروهی در راه خدا می جنگیدند، و گروه دیگر کافر بودند، که اهل ایمان را به چشم خویش دو برابر می دیدند [به همین خاطر شکست خوردند] و خدا هر که را بخواهد با یاری خود تأیید می کند؛ مسلماً در این [واقعیت] عبرتی برای دارندگان بصیرت است.

قطعاً در برخورد میان دو گروه، برای شما نشانه‌ای [و درس عبرتی‌] بود. گروهی در راه خدا می‌جنگیدند، و دیگر [گروه‌] کافر بودند که آنان [=مؤمنان‌] را به چشم، دو برابر خود می‌دیدند؛ و خدا هر که را بخواهد به یاری خود تأیید می‌کند، یقیناً در این [ماجرا] برای صاحبان بینش عبرتی است.

Karşı karşıya gelen iki topluluğun durumlarında sizin için ibret vardır; biri Allah yolunda savaşanlardır, diğeri inkarcılardır ki, bunlar karşı tarafı gözleriyle kendilerinin iki misli görüyorlardı. Allah dilediğini yardımıyla destekler. Bunda görebilenler için ibret vardır.

Sesungguhnya telah ada tanda bagi kamu pada dua golongan yang telah bertemu (bertempur). Segolongan berperang di jalan Allah dan (segolongan) yang lain kafir yang dengan mata kepala melihat (seakan-akan) orang-orang muslimin dua kali jumlah mereka. Allah menguatkan dengan bantuan-Nya siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu terdapat pelajaran bagi orang-orang yang mempunyai mata hati.

تمہارے واسطے ان دونوں گروہوں کے حالات میں ایک نشانی موجود ہے جو میدان جنگ میں آمنے سامنے آئے کہ ایک گروہ راسِ خدا میں جہاد کررہا تھا اور دوسرا کافر تھا جو ان مومنین کو اپنے سے دوگنا دیکھ رہا تھا اور اللہ اپنی نصرت کے ذریعہ جس کی چاہتا ہے تائید کرتا ہے اور اس میں صاحبان هنظر کے واسطے سامان هعبرت و نصیحت بھی ہے

নিশ্চয়ই দুটো দলের মোকাবিলার মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন ছিল। একটি দল আল্লাহর রাহে যুদ্ধ করে। আর অপর দল ছিল কাফেরদের এরা স্বচক্ষে তাদেরকে দ্বিগুন দেখছিল। আর আল্লাহ যাকে নিজের সাহায্যের মাধ্যমে শক্তি দান করেন। এরই মধ্যে শিক্ষনীয় রয়েছে দৃষ্টি সম্পন্নদের জন্য।
