78

فَلَمَّا هَٰذَا هَٰذَآ فَلَمَّآ إِنِّى مِّمَّا ﴿٧٨﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And when he saw the sun rising, he said, "This is my lord; this is greater." But when it set, he said, "O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah.

    And when the bearer of good tidings arrived, he cast it over his face, and he returned [once again] seeing. He said, "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah that which you do…

  • كَذَٰلِكَ وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْرًا

    Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge.

  • بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا

    But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing.
