هنگامی که ماه را در حال طلوع دید [برای محکوم کردن ماه پرستان با تظاهر به ماه پرستی]، گفت: این پروردگار من است؛ چون ماه غروب کرد، گفت: یقیناً اگر پروردگارم مرا هدایت نکند بدون شک از گروه گمراهان خواهم بود.

و چون ماه را در حال طلوع دید، گفت: «این پروردگار من است.» آنگاه چون ناپدید شد، گفت: «اگر پروردگارم مرا هدایت نکرده بود قطعاً از گروه گمراهان بودم.»

Ayı doğarken görünce, "işte bu benim Rabbim!" dedi, batınca, "Rabbim beni doğruya eriştirmeseydi and olsun ki sapıklardan olurdum" dedi.

Kemudian tatkala dia melihat bulan terbit dia berkata: "Inilah Tuhanku". Tetapi setelah bulan itu terbenam, dia berkata: "Sesungguhnya jika Tuhanku tidak memberi petunjuk kepadaku, pastilah aku termasuk orang yang sesat".

پھر جب چاند کو چمکتا دیکھا تو کہا کہ پھر یہ رب ہوگا .پھر جب وہ بھی ڈوب گیا تو کہا کہ اگر پروردگار ہی ہدایت نہ دے گا تو میں گمراہوں میں ہوجاؤں گا

অতঃপর যখন চন্দ্রকে ঝলমল করতে দেখল, বললঃ এটি আমার প্রতিপালক। অনন্তর যখন তা অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেল, তখন বলল যদি আমার প্রতিপালক আমাকে পথ-প্রদর্শন না করেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমি বিভ্রান্ত সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাব।
