Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."

Say, ‘I have no control over any benefit for myself nor [over] any harm except what Allah may wish. There is a time for every nation: when their time comes, they shall not defer it by a single hour nor shall they advance it.’

Say: I have no power to hurt or benefit myself, save that which Allah willeth. For every nation there is an appointed time. When their time cometh, then they cannot put it off an hour, nor hasten (it).

Say: "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)."

Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself, or hurt, but as God will. To every nation a term; when their term comes they shall not put it back by a single hour nor put it forward.'

بگو: من برای خود قدرت دفع زیان و جلب سود ندارم، مگر آنچه را که خدا بخواهد؛ [وظیفه من فقط ابلاغ پیام خداست] برای هر امتی سرآمدی معین و اجلی محدود است، هنگامی که اجلشان سرآید، نه لحظه ای پس می مانند و نه پیش می افتند.

بگو: «برای خود زیان و سودی در اختیار ندارم، مگر آنچه را که خدا بخواهد. هر امتی را زمانی [محدود] است. آنگاه که زمانشان به سر رسد، پس نه ساعتی [از آن‌] تأخیر کنند و نه پیشی گیرند.»

De ki: "Allah'ın dilemesi dışında ben kendime bir fayda ve zarar verecek durumda değilim. Her ümmet için bir süre vardır; süreleri sona erince bir saat bile geciktirilmezler ve öne de alınmazlar."

Katakanlah: "Aku tidak berkuasa mendatangkan kemudharatan dan tidak (pula) kemanfaatan kepada diriku, melainkan apa yang dikehendaki Allah". Tiap-tiap umat mempunyai ajal. Apabila telah datang ajal mereka, maka mereka tidak dapat mengundurkannya barang sesaatpun dan tidak (pula) mendahulukan(nya).

کہہ دیجئے کہ میں اپنے نفس کے نقصان و نفع کا بھی مالک نہیں ہوں جب تک خدا نہ چاہے -ہر قوم کے لئے ایک مّدت معین ہے جس سے ایک ساعت کی بھی نہ تاخیر ہوسکتی ہے اور نہ تقدیم

তুমি বল, আমি আমার নিজের ক্ষতি কিংবা লাভেরও মালিক নই, কিন্তু আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা করেন। প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যই একেকটি ওয়াদা রয়েছে, যখন তাদের সে ওয়াদা এসে পৌঁছে যাবে, তখন না একদন্ড পেছনে সরতে পারবে, না সামনে ফসকাতে পারবে,।
