And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.

No soul may die except by Allah’s leave, at an appointed time. Whoever desires the reward of this world, We will give him of it; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him of it; and soon We will reward the grateful.

و هیچ کس جز به مشیّت و فرمان خدا نمی میرد. سرنوشتی است مقرّر شده و هر که پاداش دنیا را بخواهد [اندکی از آن] به او می دهیم، و هر که خواستار پاداش آخرت باشد، او را از آن می بخشیم؛ و یقیناً سپاس گزاران را پاداش خواهیم داد.

و هیچ نفسی جز به فرمان خدا نمیرد. [خداوند، مرگ را] به عنوان سرنوشتی معین [مقرر کرده است‌]. و هر که پاداش این دنیا را بخواهد به او از آن می‌دهیم؛ و هر که پاداش آن سرای را بخواهد از آن به او می‌دهیم، و به زودی سپاسگزاران را پاداش خواهیم داد.

Hiçbir kimse Allah'ın izni olmadan ölmez; o, belli bir vakte bağlanmıştır. Kim dünya nimetini isterse ona ondan veririz; ve kim ahiret nimetini isterse ona ondan veririz. Şükredenlerin mükafatını vereceğiz.

Sesuatu yang bernyawa tidak akan mati melainkan dengan izin Allah, sebagai ketetapan yang telah ditentukan waktunya. Barang siapa menghendaki pahala dunia, niscaya Kami berikan kepadanya pahala dunia itu, dan barang siapa menghendaki pahala akhirat, Kami berikan (pula) kepadanya pahala akhirat itu. Dan kami akan memberi balasan kepada orang-orang yang bersyukur.

کوئی نفس بھی اسُنِ پروردگار کے بغیر نہیں مرسکتا ہے سب کی ایک اجل اور مدّت معین ہے اور جو دنیا ہی میں بدلہ چاہے گا ہم اسے وہ دیں گے اور جو آخرت کا ثواب چاہے گا ہم اسے اس میں سے عطا کردیں گے اور ہم عنقریب شکر گزاروں کو جزا دیں گے

আর আল্লাহর হুকুম ছাড়া কেউ মরতে পারে না-সেজন্য একটা সময় নির্ধারিত রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ যে লোক দুনিয়ায় বিনিময় কামনা করবে, আমি তাকে তা দুনিয়াতেই দান করব। পক্ষান্তরে-যে লোক আখেরাতে বিনিময় কামনা করবে, তা থেকে আমি তাকে তাই দেবো। আর যারা কৃতজ্ঞ তাদেরকে আমি প্রতিদান দেবো
