وَمَآ عَن يَٰمُوسَىٰ﴿٨٣﴾

[Allah] said, "And what made you hasten from your people, O Moses?"

عشق و شتاب موسی(ع) برای رسیدن به میعاد

برنامه این بود که موسی(ع) برای گرفتن احکام تورات به کوه طور برود و گروهی از بنی‌اسرائیل نیز او را در این مسیر همراهی کنند تا حقایق تازه‌ای در بارة خداشناسی و وحی در این سفر برای آنها آشکار گردد؛ ولی از آن‌رو که شوق مناجات با پروردگار و شنیدن آهنگ وحی در دل موسی شعله‌ور بوده چنان سر از پا نمی‌شناخت و همه چیز حتی خوردن و آشامیدن و استراحت را در این راه فراموش کرده بود که با سرعت این راه را پیمود و قبل از دیگران» به میعادگاه پروردگار رسید. از امام صادق(ع) نقل شده است: «مشتاق, نه میل به غذا می‌کند. نه از نوشیدنی گوارا لذت می‌برد. نه خواب آسوده دارد. نه با دوستی انس می‌گیرد و نه در خانه‌ای آرام خواهد داشت...
