So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?

So be patient just as the resolute among the apostles were patient, and do not seek to hasten [the punishment] for them. The day when they see what they are promised, [it will be] as though they had remained [in the world] only an hour of a day. This is a proclamation. So shall anyone be destroyed except the transgressing lot?

Then have patience (O Muhammad) even as the stout of heart among the messengers (of old) had patience, and seek not to hasten on (the doom) for them. On the day when they see that which they are promised (it will seem to them) as though they had tarried but an hour of daylight. A clear message. Shall any be destroyed save evil-living folk?

Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of inflexible purpose; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the Day that they see the (Punishment) promised them, (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Thine but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress?

So be thou patient, as the Messengers possessed of constancy were also patient. Seek not to hasten it for them -- it shall be as if on the day they see that they are promised, they had not tarried but for an hour of a single day. A Message to be delivered! And shall any be destroyed but the people of the ungodly?

پس صبر کن همان گونه که پیامبران اولوالعزم صبر کردند، و برای آنان در [نزول عذاب] شتاب مکن، روزی که آنان آنچه را که وعده داده می شوند ببینند، گویی فقط ساعتی از یک روز [در دنیا] درنگ داشتند؛ [این قرآن] ابلاغی است برای همه؛ پس آیا جز مردم نافرمان هلاک می شوند؟

پس همان گونه که پیامبران نستوه، صبر کردند، صبر کن، و برای آنان شتابزدگی به خرج مده. روزی که آنچه را وعده داده می‌شوند بنگرند، گویی که آنان جز ساعتی از روز را [در دنیا] نمانده‌اند؛ [این‌] ابلاغی است. پس آیا جز مردم نافرمان هلاکت خواهند یافت؟

Peygamberlerden azim sahibi olanların sabrettiği gibi sen de sabret; inkarcılar için acele etme; onlar, kendilerine söz verileni gördükleri gün dünyada sadece gündüzün bir müddeti eğlendiklerini sanırlar. Bu bir bildiridir; yoldan çıkmış olanlardan başkası mı yok edilir?

Maka bersabarlah kamu seperti orang-orang yang mempunyai keteguhan hati dari rasul-rasul telah bersabar dan janganlah kamu meminta disegerakan (azab) bagi mereka. Pada hari mereka melihat azab yang diancamkan kepada mereka (merasa) seolah-olah tidak tinggal (di dunia) melainkan sesaat pada siang hari. (Inilah) suatu pelajaran yang cukup, maka tidak dibinasakan melainkan kaum yang fasik.

پیغمبر آپ اسی طرح صبر کریں جس طرح پہلے کے صاحبان ه عزم رسولوں نے صبر کیا ہے اور عذاب کے لئے جلدی نہ کریں یہ لوگ جس دن بھی اس عذاب کو دیکھیں گے جس سے ڈرایا جارہا ہے تو ایسا محسوس کریں گے جیسے دنیا میں ایک دن کی ایک گھڑی ہی ٹہرے ہیں یہ قرآن اتمام حجت ہے اور کیا فاسقوں کے علاوہ کسی اور قوم کو ہلاک کیا جائے گا

অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন, যেমন উচ্চ সাহসী পয়গম্বরগণ সবর করেছেন এবং ওদের বিষয়ে তড়িঘড়ি করবেন না। ওদেরকে যে বিষয়ে ওয়াদা দেয়া হত, তা যেদিন তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, সেদিন তাদের মনে হবে যেন তারা দিনের এক মুহুর্তের বেশী পৃথিবীতে অবস্থান করেনি। এটা সুস্পষ্ট অবগতি। এখন তারাই ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবে, যারা পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
