They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.

They said, ‘We will never prefer you to the clear proofs which have come to us, and to Him who originated us. Decide whatever you want to decide. You can only decide about the life of this world.

They said: We choose thee not above the clear proofs that have come unto us, and above Him Who created us. So decree what thou wilt decree. Thou wilt end for us only this life of the world.

They said: "Never shall we regard thee as more than the Clear Signs that have come to us, or than Him Who created us! so decree whatever thou desirest to decree: for thou canst only decree (touching) the life of this world.

They said, 'We will not prefer thee over the clear signs that have come to us, nor over Him who originated us. Decide then what thou wilt decide; thou canst only decide touching this present life.

گفتند: ما هرگز تو را بر دلایل روشنی که به سوی ما آمده و بر آنکه ما را آفرید، ترجیح نمی دهیم؛ پس هر حکمی را که می توانی صادر کن، تو فقط در این زندگی دنیا می توانی حکم کنی.

گفتند: «ما هرگز تو را بر معجزاتی که به سوی ما آمده و [بر] آن کس که ما را پدید آورده است، ترجیح نخواهیم داد؛ پس هر حکمی می‌خواهی بکن که تنها در این زندگی دنیاست که [تو] حکم می‌رانی.

İman eden sihirbazlar: "Seni, gelen apaçık mucizelere ve bizi yaratana üstün tutmayacağız. Ne hüküm vereceksen ver. Sen, ancak bu dünya hayatına hükmedebilirsin. Doğrusu biz, yanılmalarımızı ve bize zorla yaptırdığın sihri bağışlaması için Rabbimize iman ettik. Allah'ın vereceği mükafat daha iyi ve daha devamlıdır" dediler.

Mereka berkata: "Kami sekali-kali tidak akan mengutamakan kamu daripada bukti-bukti yang nyata (mukjizat), yang telah datang kepada kami dan daripada Tuhan yang telah menciptakan kami; maka putuskanlah apa yang hendak kamu putuskan. Sesungguhnya kamu hanya akan dapat memutuskan pada kehidupan di dunia ini saja.

ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے پاس جو کھلی نشانیاں آچکی ہیں اور جس نے ہم کو پیدا کیا ہے ہم اس پر تیری بات کو مقدم نہیں کرسکتے اب تجھے جو فیصلہ کرنا ہو کرلے تو فقط اس زندگانی دنیا ہی تک فیصلہ کرسکتا ہے

যাদুকররা বললঃ আমাদের কাছে যে, সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ এসেছে তার উপর এবং যিনি আমাদের কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাঁর উপর আমরা কিছুতেই তোমাকে প্রাধান্য দেব না। অতএব, তুমি যা ইচ্ছা করতে পার। তুমি তো শুধু এই পার্থিব জীবনেই যা করার করবে।
