And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers."

If you ask them, ‘Who created the heavens and the earth?’ they will surely say, ‘Allah.’ Say, ‘Have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? Should Allah desire some distress for me, can they remove the distress visited by Him? Or should He desire some mercy for me, can they withhold His mercy?’ Say, ‘Allah is sufficient for me. In Him let all the trusting put their trust.’

And verily, if thou shouldst ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth? they will say: Allah. Say: Bethink you then of those ye worship beside Allah, if Allah willed some hurt for me, could they remove from me His hurt; or if He willed some mercy for me, could they restrain His mercy? Say: Allah is my all. In Him do (all) the trusting put their trust.

If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah". Say: "See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust."

If thou askest them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' they will say, 'God.' Say: 'What think you? That you call upon apart from God -- if God desires affliction for me, shall they remove His affliction? Or if He desires mercy for me, shall they withhold His mercy?' Say: 'God is enough for me; in Him all those put their trust who put their trust.'

اگر از آنان بپرسی: چه کسی آسمان ها و زمین را آفرید؟ بی تردید می گویند: خدا. بگو: پس مرا درباره معبودانی که به جای خدا می پرستید خبر دهید، که اگر خدا آسیبی را برای من بخواهد، آیا آنها می توانند آسیب او را از من برطرف کنند؟ یا اگر رحمتی را برای من بخواهد، آیا می توانند رحمتش را باز دارند؟ بگو: خدا مرا کافی است. توکل کنندگان فقط بر او توکل می کنند.

و اگر از آنها بپرسی: «چه کسی آسمانها و زمین را خلق کرده؟» قطعاً خواهند گفت: «خدا.» بگو: «[هان‌] چه تصور می‌کنید، اگر خدا بخواهد صدمه‌ای به من برساند؛ آیا آنچه را به جای خدا می‌خوانید، می‌توانند صدمه او را برطرف کنند؛ یا اگر او رحمتی برای من اراده کند آیا آنها می‌توانند رحمتش را بازدارند؟» بگو: «خدا مرا بس است. اهل توکّل تنها بر او توکّل می‌کنند.»

And olsun ki, onlara, "Gökleri ve yeri yaratan kimdir?" diye sorsan: "Allah'tır" derler. De ki: "Öyleyse bana bildirin, Allah bana bir zarar vermek isterse, Allah'ı bırakıp da taptıklarınız, O'nun verdiği zararı giderebilir mi? Yahut bana bir rahmetdilerse, O'nun rahmetini önleyebilir mi?" De ki: "Allah bana yeter; güvenenler O'na güvenir."

Dan sungguh jika kamu bertanya kepada mereka: "Siapakah yang menciptakan langit dan bumi?", niscaya mereka menjawab: "Allah". Katakanlah: "Maka terangkanlah kepadaku tentang apa yang kamu seru selain Allah, jika Allah hendak mendatangkan kemudharatan kepadaku, apakah berhala-berhalamu itu dapat menghilangkan kemudharatan itu, atau jika Allah hendak memberi rahmat kepadaku, apakah mereka dapat menahan rahmat-Nya?. Katakanlah: "Cukuplah Allah bagiku". Kepada-Nya-lah bertawakkal orang-orang yang berserah diri.

اور اگر آپ ان سے سوال کریں گے کہ زمین و آسمان کو کس نے پیدا کیا ہے تو کہیں گے کہ اللہ ...._ تو کہہ دیجئے کہ کیا تم نے ان سب کا حال دیکھا ہے جن کی عبادت کرتے ہو کہ اگر خدا نقصان پہنچانے کا ارادہ کرلے تو کیا یہ اس نقصان کو روک سکتے ہیں یا اگر وہ رحمت کا ارادہ کرلے تو کیا یہ اس رحمت کو منع کرسکتے ہیں - آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میرے لئے میرا خدا کافی ہے اور بھروسہ کرنے والے اسی پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں

যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, আসমান ও যমীন কে সৃষ্টি করেছে? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে-আল্লাহ। বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি আল্লাহ আমার অনিষ্ট করার ইচ্ছা করেন, তবে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে ডাক, তারা কি সে অনিষ্ট দূর করতে পারবে? অথবা তিনি আমার প্রতি রহমত করার ইচ্ছা করলে তারা কি সে রহমত রোধ করতে পারবে? বলুন, আমার পক্ষে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। নির্ভরকারীরা তাঁরই উপর নির্ভর করে।
