Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn."

What! Is someone who fends off with his face the terrible punishment [meted out to him] on the Day of Resurrection…? And the wrongdoers will be told, ‘Taste what you used to earn.’

Is he then, who will strike his face against the awful doom upon the Day of Resurrection (as he who doeth right)? And it will be said unto the wrong-doers: Taste what ye used to earn.

Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face, (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong-doers: "Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!"

Is he who guards himself with his face against the evil of the chastisement on the Day of Resurrection...? And it is said to the evildoers, 'Taste now that you were earning!'

آیا کسی که روز قیامت [به خاطر بسته بودن دست هایش می کوشد که] با صورت خود گزند عذاب را دفع کند [مانند کسی است که ایمن از عذاب است؟] به ستمکاران گویند: آنچه را همواره مرتکب می شدید، بچشید.

پس آیا آن کس که [به جای دستها] با چهره خود، گزند عذاب را روز قیامت دفع می‌کند [مانند کسی است که از عذاب ایمن است‌]؟ و به ستمگران گفته می‌شود: «آنچه را که دستاوردتان بوده است بچشید.»

Kıyamet günü kötü azaptan yüzünü korumaya çalışan kimse, güven içinde olan kimse gibi midir? Zalimlere: "Kazandıklarınızın karşılığını tadın" denir.

Maka apakah orang-orang yang menoleh dengan mukanya menghindari azab yang buruk pada hari kiamat (sama dengan orang mukmin yang tidak kena azab)? Dan dikatakan kepada orang-orang yang zalim: "Rasakanlah olehmu balasan apa yang telah kamu kerjakan".

کیا وہ شخص جو روز هقیامت بدترین عذاب کا بچاؤ اپنے چہرہ سے کرنے والا ہے نجات پانے والے کے برابر ہوسکتا ہے اور ظالمین سے تو یہی کہا جائے گا کہ اپنے کرتوت کا مزہ چکھو

যে ব্যক্তি কেয়ামতের দিন তার মুখ দ্বারা অশুভ আযাব ঠেকাবে এবং এরূপ জালেমদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা যা করতে তার স্বাদ আস্বাদন কর,-সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়?
