وَتِلْكَ عَلَىَّ أَنْ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ﴿٢٢﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?"

نعمت بردگی بنی‌اسرائیل!

در آیات ۱۸ و ۱۹ خواندیم که فرعون» موسی(ع) را به ناسپاسی لطف هایی که در کودکی به او کرده بودء متهم کرد. فرعون» در حقیقت موسی(ع) و بنی‌اسرائیل را بردة خود می‌دانست و لطفی را که از نظر خودش به موسی کرده بود» لطف ولی نعمت به برد خویش می‌پنداشت. حضرت موسی(ع) در پاسخ او فرمود که ایا تو به خاطر در بند کشیدن بنی‌اسرائیل و برده کردن آنها بر من منت می گذاری؟ این چیزی که تو آن را نعمتی از خود بر من می‌خوانی و مرابه کفران آن سرزنش می‌کنی» نعمت نیست؛ بلکه تسلط جابرانه‌ای است که بر من و بر همه بنی‌اسرائیل داشته‌ای و اصلاً برده گرفتن مردم به ظلم و زور کجایش نعمت است؟

    And when the punishment descended upon them, they said, "O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. If you [can] remove the punishment from us, we will surely…

    [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'"

  • يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ قَدْ أَنجَيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ وَوَٰعَدْنَٰكُمْ جَانِبَ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلْأَيْمَنَ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ

    O Children of Israel, We delivered you from your enemy, and We made an appointment with you at the right side of the mount, and We sent down to you manna and quails,

  • وَإِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئْتِ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

    And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people -

  • مِن فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ

    From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors.
