  • وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ

    And indeed, the disbelievers used to say,

  • وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

    And We have [repeatedly] conveyed to them the Qur'an that they might be reminded.

  • وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ

    And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship

  • وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠

    And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.
