Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightening almost takes away the eyesight.

Have you not regarded that Allah drives the clouds, then He composes them, then He piles them up, whereat you see the rain issuing from its midst? And He sends down hail from the sky, out of the mountains that are in it, and He strikes with it whomever He wishes, and turns it away from whomever He wishes. The brilliance of its lightening almost takes away the sight.

Hast thou not seen how Allah wafteth the clouds, then gathereth them, then maketh them layers, and thou seest the rain come forth from between them; He sendeth down from the heaven mountains wherein is hail, and smiteth therewith whom He will, and averteth it from whom He will. The flashing of His lightning all but snatcheth away the sight.

Seest thou not that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap? - then wilt thou see rain issue forth from their midst. And He sends down from the sky mountain masses (of clouds) wherein is hail: He strikes therewith whom He pleases and He turns it away from whom He pleases, the vivid flash of His lightning well-nigh blinds the sight.

'hast thou not seen how God drives the clouds, then composes them, then converts them into a mass, then thou seest the rain issuing out of the midst of them? And He sends down out of heaven mountains, wherein is hail, so that He smites whom He will with it, and turns it aside from whom He will; wellnigh the gleam of His lightning snatches away the sight.

آیا ندانسته ای که خدا ابری را [به آرامی] می راند، آن گاه میان [اجزای] آن پیوند برقرار می کند، سپس آن را انبوه و متراکم می سازد، پس می بینی که باران از لابلای آن بیرون می آید، و از آسمان از کوه هایی که در آن ابر یخ زده است، تگرگی فرو می ریزد، پس آسیب آن را به هر که بخواهد می رساند، و از هر که بخواهد برطرف می کند، نزدیک است درخشندگی برقش دیده ها را کور کند.

آیا ندانسته‌ای که خدا[ست که‌] ابر را به آرامی می‌راند، سپس میان [اجزاء] آن پیوند می‌دهد، آنگاه آن را متراکم می‌سازد، پس دانه‌های باران را می‌بینی که از خلال آن بیرون می‌آید، و [خداست که‌] از آسمان از کوههایی [از ابر یخ‌زده ]که در آنجاست تگرگی فرو می‌ریزد؛ و هر که را بخواهد بدان گزند می‌رساند، و آن را از هر که بخواهد باز می‌دارد. نزدیک است روشنیِ برقش چشمها را بِبَرَد.

Bilmez misiniz ki, Allah bulutları sürer, sonra onları bir araya getirir; üstüste yığar, sen de onların arasından yağmur yağdığını görürsün. Gökten içinde dolu bulunan dağlar gibi bulutlar indirir, dilediğini ona uğratır, dilediğinden de uzak tutar. Bu bulutların şimşeğinin parıltısı nerdeyse gözleri alır!

Tidaklah kamu melihat bahwa Allah mengarak awan, kemudian mengumpulkan antara (bagian-bagian)nya, kemudian menjadikannya bertindih-tindih, maka kelihatanlah olehmu hujan keluar dari celah-celahnya dan Allah (juga) menurunkan (butiran-butiran) es dari langit, (yaitu) dari (gumpalan-gumpalan awan seperti) gunung-gunung, maka ditimpakan-Nya (butiran-butiran) es itu kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya dan dipalingkan-Nya dari siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya. Kilauan kilat awan itu hampir-hampir menghilangkan penglihatan.

کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا کہ خدا ہی ابر کو چلاتا ہے اور پھر انہیں آپس میں جوڑ کر تہ بہ تہ بنا دیتاہے پھر تم دیکھو گے کہ اس کے درمیان سے بارش نکل رہی ہے اور وہ اسے آسمان سے برف کے پہاڑوں کے درمیان سے برساتا ہے پھر جس تک چاہتا ہے پہنچادیتا ہے اور جس کی طرف سے چاہتا ہے موڑ دیتا ہے اس کی بجلی کی چمک اتنی تیز ہے کہ قریب ہے کہ آنکھوں کی بینائی ختم کردے

তুমি কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহ মেঘমালাকে সঞ্চালিত করেন, অতঃপর তাকে পুঞ্জীভূত করেন, অতঃপর তাকে স্তরে স্তরে রাখেন; অতঃপর তুমি দেখ যে, তার মধ্য থেকে বারিধারা নির্গত হয়। তিনি আকাশস্থিত শিলাস্তুপ থেকে শিলাবর্ষণ করেন এবং তা দ্বারা যাকে ইচ্ছা আঘাত করেন এবং যার কাছ থেকে ইচ্ছা, তা অন্যদিকে ফিরিয়ে দেন। তার বিদ্যুৎঝলক দৃষ্টিশক্তি যেন বিলীন করে দিতে চায়।
