تعیین وقت برای پیامبران

این آیه در ادامةٌ توضیح رستاخیز می‌افزاید: در آن زمان برای پیامبران تعیین وقت می‌شود که به نوبت بیایند و در بارة امت خود شهادت بدهند. در آَیةْ ۶ سورةٌ اعراف آمده است: «ما, هم از کسانی که رسولان به سوی آنها مبعوث شدند, سوّال می‌کنیم و هم از رسولان.» سپس می‌افزاید: «برای چه روزی شهادت این رسولان و گواهان آنها بر امتها به تخیر افتاده؟» و پاسخ می‌گوید: «برای روز جدایی.» این روزء روز جدایی حق از باطل, جدایی صفوف موّمنان از کافران و نیکوکاران از بدکاران و روز داوری مطلق حق در بارةٌ همگان است. این سوال و جواب برای بیان عظمت آن روز بزرگ است و چه تعبیر پرمعنی و گویایی از آن روز شده است: «روز جدایی‌ها».
