And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.

Said the elite of his people, who were faithless and who denied the encounter of the Hereafter and whom We had given affluence in the life of the world: ‘This is just a human being like yourselves: he eats what you eat, and drinks what you drink.

و اشراف قومش که کافر شده، و دیدار آخرت را دروغ پنداشته بودند، و در زندگی دنیا آنان را مرفّه ساخته بودیم گفتند: «این [مرد] جز بشری چون شما نیست: از آنچه می‌خورید، می‌خورد؛ و از آنچه می‌نوشید، می‌نوشد.

Onun, inkarcı ve ahirete kavuşmayı yalanlayan milletinin ileri gelenleri ki Biz onlara bu dünya hayatında nimet vermiştik şöyle dediler: "Bu, yediğinizden yiyen, içtiğinizden içen sizin gibi bir insandan başka birşey değildir."

تو ان کی قوم کے ان رؤسائ نے جنہوں نے کفر اختیار کیا تھا اور آخرت کی ملاقات کا انکار کردیا تھا اور ہم نے انہیں زندگانی دنیا میں عیش و عشرت کا سامان دے دیا تھا وہ کہنے لگے کہ یہ تو تمہارا ہی جیسا ایک بشر ہے جو تم کھاتے ہو وہی کھاتا ہے اور جو تم پیتے ہو وہی پیتا بھی ہے

তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের প্রধানরা যারা কাফের ছিল, পরকালের সাক্ষাতকে মিথ্যা বলত এবং যাদেরকে আমি পার্থিব জীবনে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য দিয়েছিলাম, তারা বললঃ এতো আমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। তোমরা যা খাও, সেও তাই খায় এবং তোমরা যা পান কর, সেও তাই পান করে।
