قَدْ لَكُمْ عَلَىٰ مِّنَ أَن مَا مِنۢ وَلَا فَقَدْ عَلَىٰ ﴿١٩﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent.

Tafsīr

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

قترت پیامبران

فَنرّت به معنای سکون و آرامش است و به فاصلةٌ میان دو جنیش و حرکت یا دو کوشش و نهضت و انقلاب نیز گفته می‌شود. از آن رو که در فاصلةً میان موسی(ع) و مسیح(ع) پیامبران و رسولان زیادی وجود داشتندء اما در میان حضرت مسیح(ع) و پیغمبر اسلام(ص) رسولان زیادی نیامدنده قرآن این دوران را دوران فترت پیامبران نامیده است و می‌دانیم که در میان دوران مسیح(ع) و بعشت پیامبر(ص) حدود ششصد سال فاصله بود. البته طبق آنچه در یه ۱۴ سورةٌ پس گفته شده و طبق آنچه مفسران اسلامی گفته‌اند» در میان این دو پیامبر» دست کم سه پیامبر آمده و بعضی شمار آنها را چهار نفر می‌دانند؛ اما در هر حال چون میان وفات آن رسولان و پیامبر اسلام(ص) فاصله‌ای وجود داشته و نیز شمار آنها از پیامبران قبل از عیسی(ع) بسیار کمتر بوده است» دوران بین عیسی تا پیامبر اسلام(ص) به دوران فترت معروف شده است. البته در این دوران» اوصیای پیامبران حضور داشتند و مطابق عقیدةٌ شیعه, زمین هرگز از حجت الهی خالی نشده و نخواهد شد.

  • يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

    O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people…

  • وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ قُضِىَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ

    And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you…

  • أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ إِنَّنِى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ

    [Through a messenger, saying], "Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings,"

  • رُّسُلًا مُّبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ حُجَّةٌۢ بَعْدَ ٱلرُّسُلِ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا

    [We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings and warners so that mankind will have no argument against Allah after the messengers. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

  • يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ شَٰهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا

    O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
