And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.

We have appointed for you the [sacrificial] camels as part of Allah’s sacraments. There is good for you in them. So mention the Name of Allah over them as they stand. And when they have fallen on their flanks, eat from them, and feed the self-contained needy and the mendicant. Thus have We disposed them for your benefit so that you may give thanks.

And the camels! We have appointed them among the ceremonies of Allah. Therein ye have much good. So mention the name of Allah over them when they are drawn up in lines. Then when their flanks fall (dead), eat thereof and feed the beggar and the suppliant. Thus have We made them subject unto you, that haply ye may give thanks.

The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the symbols from Allah: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name of Allah over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility: thus have We made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful.

And the beasts of sacrifice -- We have appointed them for you as among God's waymarks; therein is good for you. So mention God's Name over them, standing in ranks then, when their flanks collapse, eat of them and feed the beggar and the suppliant. So We have subjected them to you; haply you will be thankful.

شتران قربانی را برای شما از شعایر خدا قرار دادیم، برای شما در آنها سودی [مانند سواری گرفتن و تغذیه از شیر و گوشت آنها] ست؛ در حالی که به نظم در خط مستقیم ایستاده اند، نام خدا را [هنگام نحر کردنشان] بر آنها ذکر کنید، و زمانی که [بی جان] به پهلو در افتاده اند، از آنها بخورید و به تهیدستانی که اهل درخواست کردن نیستند و فقیرانی که اهل درخواست کردن هستند، بخورانید. این گونه آنها را برای شما رام و مسخّر کردیم تا سپاس گزاری کنید.

و شتران فربه را برای شما از [جمله‌] شعایر خدا قرار دادیم: در آنها برای شما خیر است. پس نام خدا را بر آنها -در حالی که برپای ایستاده‌اند- ببَرید و چون به پهلو درغلتیدند از آنها بخورید و به تنگدست [سائل‌] و به بینوا[ی غیر سائل ]بخورانید. این گونه آنها را برای شما رام کردیم، امید که شکرگزار باشید.

İşte kurbanlık deve ve sığırları Allah'ın size olan nişanelerinden kıldık. Onlarda sizin için hayır vardır. Bağlı halde keserken üzerlerine Allah'ın adını anın. Yan üstü düşüp ölünce onlardan yiyin, isteyene de istemeyene de verin. Şükredersiniz diye onları böylece sizin buyruğunuza verdik.

Dan telah Kami jadikan untuk kamu unta-unta itu sebahagian dari syi'ar Allah, kamu memperoleh kebaikan yang banyak padanya, maka sebutlah olehmu nama Allah ketika kamu menyembelihnya dalam keadaan berdiri (dan telah terikat). Kemudian apabila telah roboh (mati), maka makanlah sebahagiannya dan beri makanlah orang yang rela dengan apa yang ada padanya (yang tidak meminta-minta) dan orang yang meminta. Demikianlah Kami telah menundukkan untua-unta itu kepada kamu, mudah-mudahan kamu bersyukur.

اور ہم نے قربانیوں کے اونٹ کو بھی اپنی نشانیوں میں سے قرار دیا ہے اس میں تمہارے لئے خیر ہے لہذا اس پر کھڑے ہونے کی حالت ہی میں نام خدا کا ذکر کرو اور اس کے بعد جب اس کے تمام پہلو گر جائیں تو اس میں سے خود بھی کھاؤ اور قناعت کرنے والے اور مانگنے والے سب غریبوں کو کھلاؤ کہ ہم نے انہیں تمہارے لئے لَسّخر کردیا ہے تاکہ تم شکر گزار بندے بن جاؤ

এবং কা’বার জন্যে উৎসর্গীকৃত উটকে আমি তোমাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর অন্যতম নিদর্শন করেছি। এতে তোমাদের জন্যে মঙ্গল রয়েছে। সুতরাং সারিবদ্ধভাবে বাঁধা অবস্থায় তাদের যবেহ করার সময় তোমরা আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ কর। অতঃপর যখন তারা কাত হয়ে পড়ে যায় তখন তা থেকে তোমরা আহার কর এবং আহার করাও যে কিছু যাচ্ঞা করে না তাকে এবং যে যাচ্ঞা করে তাকে। এমনিভাবে আমি এগুলোকে তোমাদের বশীভূত করে দিয়েছি, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
