Whoever should think that Allah will not support [Prophet Muhammad] in this world and the Hereafter - let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him see: will his effort remove that which enrages [him]?

Whoever thinks that Allah will not help him in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch a rope to the ceiling and hang himself, and see if his artifice would remove his rage.

Whoso is wont to think (through envy) that Allah will not give him (Muhammad) victory in the world and the Hereafter (and is enraged at the thought of his victory), let him stretch a rope up to the roof (of his dwelling), and let him hang himself. Then let him see whether his strategy dispelleth that whereat he rageth!.

If any think that Allah will not help him (His Messenger) in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and cut (himself) off: then let him see whether his plan will remove that which enrages (him)!

Whosoever thinks God will not help him in the present world and the world to come; let him stretch up a rope to heaven, then let him sever it, and behold whether his guile does away with what enrages him.

کسی که همواره گمان می کند که خدا هرگز پیامبرش را در دنیا و آخرت یاری نخواهد داد [و اکنون یاری خدا را می بیند و به این خاطر ناامید و خشمگین است] باید طنابی از سقف [خانه اش] بیاویزد، سپس خود را حلق آویز کند، پس ببیند آیا حیله و نیرنگش آنچه را سبب خشم او شده است از بین می برد؟!

هر که می‌پندارد که خدا [پیامبرش‌] را در دنیا و آخرت هرگز یاری نخواهد کرد [بگو] تا طنابی به سوی سقف کشد [و خود را حلق‌آویز کند] سپس [آن را] بِبُرَد. آنگاه بنگرد که آیا نیرنگش چیزی را که مایه خشم او شده از میان خواهد برد؟

Allah'ın peygamber'e dünyada ve ahirette yardım etmeyeceğini sanan kimse, yukarı bağladığı bir ipe kendini asıp, boğsun; bir düşünsün bakalım, bu hilesi kendisini öfkelendiren şeye engel olabilir mi?

Barangsiapa yang menyangka bahwa Allah sekali-kali tiada menolongnya (Muhammad) di dunia dan akhirat, maka hendaklah ia merentangkan tali ke langit, kemudian hendaklah ia melaluinya, kemudian hendaklah ia pikirkan apakah tipu dayanya itu dapat melenyapkan apa yang menyakitkan hatinya.

جس شخص کا خیال یہ ہے کہ اللہ دنیا اور آخرت میں اس کی مدد نہیں کرے گا اسے چاہئے کہ ایک رسی کے ذریعہ آسمان کی طرف بڑھے اور پھر اس رسی کو کاٹ دے اور پھر دیکھے کہ اس کی ترکیب اس چیز کو دور کرسکتی ہے یا نہیں جس کے غصّہ میں وہ مبتلا تھا

সে ধারণা করে যে, আল্লাহ কখনই ইহকালে ও পরকালে রাসূলকে সাহায্য করবেন না, সে একটি রশি আকাশ পর্যন্ত ঝুলিয়ে নিক; এরপর কেটে দিক; অতঃপর দেখুক তার এই কৌশল তার আক্রোশ দূর করে কিনা।
