And if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then a security deposit [should be] taken. And if one of you entrusts another, then let him who is entrusted discharge his trust [faithfully] and let him fear Allah, his Lord. And do not conceal testimony, for whoever conceals it - his heart is indeed sinful, and Allah is Knowing of what you do.

If you are on a journey and cannot find a writer, then a retained pledge [shall suffice]. And if one of you entrusts [an asset] to another, let him who is trusted deliver his trust, and let him be wary of Allah, his Lord. And do not conceal your testimony; anyone who conceals it, his heart will indeed be sinful, and Allah knows well what you do.

If ye be on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then a pledge in hand (shall suffice). And if one of you entrusteth to another let him who is trusted deliver up that which is entrusted to him (according to the pact between them) and let him observe his duty to Allah his Lord. Hide not testimony. He who hideth it, verily his heart is sinful. Allah is Aware of what ye do.

And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, Let the trustee (Faithfully) discharge His trust, and let him fear his Lord. Conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it,- His heart is tainted with sin. And Allah Knoweth all that ye do.

And if you are upon a journey, and you do not find a writer, then a pledge in hand. But if one of you trusts another, let him who is trusted deliver his trust, and let him fear God his Lord. And do not conceal the testimony; whoso conceals it, his heart is sinful; and God has knowledge of the things you do.

و اگر در سفر بودید و نویسنده ای [برای ثبت سند] نیافتید، وثیقه های دریافت شده [جایگزین سند و شاهد] است. و اگر یکدیگر را امین دانستید [وثیقه لازم نیست] پس باید کسی که امینش دانسته اند، امانتش را ادا کند. و از خدا پروردگار خود، پروا نماید و [شما ای شاهدان!] شهادت را پنهان نکنید و هر که آن را پنهان کند، یقیناً دلش گناهکار است؛ و خدا به آنچه انجام می دهید داناست.

و اگر در سفر بودید و نویسنده‌ای نیافتید وثیقه‌ای بگیرید؛ و اگر برخی از شما برخی دیگر را امین دانست، پس آن کس که امین شمرده شده، باید سپرده وی را بازپس دهد؛ و باید از خداوند که پروردگار اوست، پروا کند. و شهادت را کتمان مکنید، و هر که آن را کتمان کند قلبش گناهکار است، و خداوند به آنچه انجام می‌دهید داناست.

Eğer yolculukta olup katip bulamazsanız alınan rehin yeter. Şayet birbirinize güvenirseniz, güvenilen kimse borcunu ödesin. Rabbi olan Allah'tan sakınsın. Şahidliği gizlemeyin, onu kim gizlerse şüphesiz kalbi günah işlemiş olur. Allah işlediklerinizi bilir.

Jika kamu dalam perjalanan (dan bermu'amalah tidak secara tunai) sedang kamu tidak memperoleh seorang penulis, maka hendaklah ada barang tanggungan yang dipegang (oleh yang berpiutang). Akan tetapi jika sebagian kamu mempercayai sebagian yang lain, maka hendaklah yang dipercayai itu menunaikan amanatnya (hutangnya) dan hendaklah ia bertakwa kepada Allah Tuhannya; dan janganlah kamu (para saksi) menyembunyikan persaksian. Dan barangsiapa yang menyembunyikannya, maka sesungguhnya ia adalah orang yang berdosa hatinya; dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

اور اگر تم سفر میں ہو اور کوئی کاتب نہیں مل رہا ہے تو کوئی رہن رکھ دو اور ایک کو دوسرے پر اعتبار ہو تو جس پراعتبار ہے اس کو چاہئے کہ امانت کو واپس کردے اورخدا سے ڈرتا رہے---- اور خبردار گواہی کو حُھپانا نہیں کہ جو ایسا کرے گا اس کا دل گنہگار ہوگا اور اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے خوب باخبر ہے

আর তোমরা যদি প্রবাসে থাক এবং কোন লেখক না পাও তবে বন্ধকী বন্তু হস্তগত রাখা উচিত। যদি একে অন্যকে বিশ্বাস করে, তবে যাকে বিশ্বাস করা হয়, তার উচিত অন্যের প্রাপ্য পরিশোধ করা এবং স্বীয় পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর! তোমরা সাক্ষ্য গোপন করো না। যে কেউ তা গোপন করবে, তার অন্তর পাপপূর্ণ হবে। তোমরা যা করা, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে খুব জ্ঞাত।
