Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude.

Have you not regarded those who left their homes in thousands, apprehensive of death, whereupon Allah said to them, ‘Die,’ then He revived them? Indeed Allah is gracious to mankind, but most people do not give thanks.

Bethink thee (O Muhammad) of those of old, who went forth from their habitations in their thousands, fearing death, and Allah said unto them: Die; and then He brought them back to life. Lo! Allah is a Lord of Kindness to mankind, but most of mankind give not thanks.

Didst thou not Turn by vision to those who abandoned their homes, though they were thousands (In number), for fear of death? Allah said to them: "Die": Then He restored them to life. For Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but Most of them are ungrateful.

Hast thou not regarded those who went forth from their habitations in their thousands fearful of death? God said to them, 'Die!' Then He gave them life. Truly God is bounteous to the people, but most of the people are not thankful.

آیا به کسانی که از ترس مرگ از خانه های خود در حالی که هزاران نفر بودند، بیرون آمدند [با دیده عبرت] ننگریستی؟ پس خدا به آنان فرمود: بمیرید [و آنان بدون فاصله مردند،] سپس آنان را زنده کرد [تا بدانند رهایی از چنگ مرگ ممکن نیست]. خدا نسبت به مردم دارای فضل و احسان است، ولی بیشتر مردم سپاس نمی گزارند.

آیا از [حال‌] کسانی که از بیم مرگ از خانه‌های خود خارج شدند، و هزاران تن بودند، خبر نیافتی؟ پس خداوند به آنان گفت: «تن به مرگ بسپارید» آنگاه آنان را زنده ساخت. آری، خداوند نسبت به مردم، صاحب بخشش است، ولی بیشتر مردم سپاسگزاری نمی‌کنند.

Binlerce kişinin memleketlerinden ölüm korkusuyla çıktıklarını görmedin mi? Allah onlara "Ölün" dedi. Sonra onları diriltti. Allah insanlara bol nimet verir, fakat insanların çoğu şükretmezler.

Apakah kamu tidak memperhatikan orang-orang yang ke luar dari kampung halaman mereka, sedang mereka beribu-ribu (jumlahnya) karena takut mati; maka Allah berfirman kepada mereka: "Matilah kamu", kemudian Allah menghidupkan mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah mempunyai karunia terhadap manusia tetapi kebanyakan manusia tidak bersyukur.

کیا تم نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا جو ہزاروں کی تعداد میںاپنے گھروں سے نکل پڑے موت کے خوف سے اور خدا نے انہیںموت کا حکم دے دیا اور پھر زندہ کردیا کہ خدا لوگوں پر بہت فضل کرنے والا ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ شکریہ نہیں ادا کرتے ہیں

তুমি কি তাদেরকে দেখনি, যারা মৃত্যুর ভয়ে নিজেদের ঘর ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন? অথচ তারা ছিল হাজার হাজার। তারপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে বললেন মরে যাও। তারপর তাদেরকে জীবিত করে দিলেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ মানুষের উপর অনুগ্রহকারী। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক শুকরিয়া প্রকাশ করে না।
