And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book and wisdom by which He instructs you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Knowing of all things.

When you divorce women and they complete their term [of waiting], then either retain them honourably or release them honourably, and do not retain them maliciously in order that you may transgress; and whoever does that certainly wrongs himself. Do not take the signs of Allah in derision, and remember Allah’s blessing upon you, and what He has sent down to you of the Book and wisdom, to advise you therewith. Be wary of Allah and know that Allah has knowledge of all things.

When ye have divorced women, and they have reached their term, then retain them in kindness or release them in kindness. Retain them not to their hurt so that ye transgress (the limits). He who doeth that hath wronged his soul. Make not the revelations of Allah a laughing-stock (by your behaviour), but remember Allah's grace upon you and that which He hath revealed unto you of the Scripture and of wisdom, whereby He doth exhort you. Observe your duty to Allah and know that Allah is Aware of all things.

When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable terms; but do not take them back to injure them, (or) to take undue advantage; if any one does that; He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a jest, but solemnly rehearse Allah's favours on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is well acquainted with all things.

When you divorce women, and they have reached their term, then retain them honourably or set them free honourably; do not retain them by force, to transgress; whoever does that has wronged himself. Take not God's signs in mockery, and remember God's blessing upon you, and the Book and the Wisdom He has sent down on you, to admonish you. And fear God, and know that God has knowledge of everything.

و هنگامی که زنان را طلاق دادید و به پایان عدّه خود نزدیک شدند، آنان را [با رجوع کردن] به طور شایسته و متعارف، نگه دارید یا [با ترک رجوع] به نیکی و خوشی رها کنید. و آنان را برای آزار رساندن و زیان زدن نگه ندارید تا بر آنان تعدّی و ستم کنید. و هر که چنین کند قطعاً به خود ستم کرده است. و آیات خدا را به مسخره نگیرید و نعمت خدا را بر خود و آنچه از کتاب و حکمت بر شما نازل کرده که شما را به آن پند می دهد، به یاد آرید. و از خدا پروا کنید و بدانید که خدا به همه چیز داناست.

و چون آنان را طلاق گفتید، و به پایان عدّه خویش رسیدند، پس بخوبی نگاهشان دارید یا بخوبی آزادشان کنید. و[لی‌] آنان را برای [آزار و] زیان رساندن [به ایشان‌] نگاه مدارید تا [به حقوقشان‌] تعدّی کنید. و هر کس چنین کند، قطعاً بر خود ستم نموده است. و آیات خدا را به ریشخند مگیرید، و نعمت خدا را بر خود و آنچه را که از کتاب و حکمت بر شما نازل کرده و به [وسیله‌] آن به شما اندرز می‌دهد، به یاد آورید؛ و از خدا پروا داشته باشید، و بدانید که خدا به هر چیزی داناست.

Kadınları boşadığınızda, müddetleri sona ererken, onları güzellikle tutun, ya da güzellikle bırakın, haklarına tecavüz etmek için onlara zararlı olacak şekilde tutmayın; böyle yapan şüphesiz kendisine yazık etmiş olur. Allah'ın ayetlerini de alaya almayın; Allah'ın üzerinize olan nimetini, öğüt vermek üzere size indirdiği Kitap ve hikmeti anın, Allah'tan sakının, Allah'ın her şeyi bildiğini bilin.

Apabila kamu mentalak isteri-isterimu, lalu mereka mendekati akhir iddahnya, maka rujukilah mereka dengan cara yang ma'ruf, atau ceraikanlah mereka dengan cara yang ma'ruf (pula). Janganlah kamu rujuki mereka untuk memberi kemudharatan, karena dengan demikian kamu menganiaya mereka. Barangsiapa berbuat demikian, maka sungguh ia telah berbuat zalim terhadap dirinya sendiri. Janganlah kamu jadikan hukum-hukum Allah permainan, dan ingatlah nikmat Allah padamu, dan apa yang telah diturunkan Allah kepadamu yaitu Al Kitab dan Al Hikmah (As Sunnah). Allah memberi pengajaran kepadamu dengan apa yang diturunkan-Nya itu. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah serta ketahuilah bahwasanya Allah Maha Mengetahui segala sesuatu.

اور جب تم عورتوں کو طلاق دو اور وہ مدّاُ عدت کے خاتمہ کے قریب پہنچ جائیں تو یا انہیں اصلاح اور حسنِ معاشرت کے ساتھ روک لو یا انہیں حسنِ سلوک کے ساتھ آزاد کردو اور خبردار نقصان پہنچانے کی غرض سے انہیں نہ روکنا کہ ان پر ظلم کرو کہ جو ایسا کرے گا وہ خود اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرے گا اور خبردار آیات الٰہی کو مذاق نہ بناؤ. خدا کی نعمت کو یاد کرو. اس نے کتاب و حکمت کو تمہاری نصیحت کےلئے نازل کیا ہے اور یاد رکھو کہ وہ ہر شے کا جاننے والا ہے

আর যখন তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিয়ে দাও, অতঃপর তারা নির্ধারিত ইদ্দত সমাপ্ত করে নেয়, তখন তোমরা নিয়ম অনুযায়ী তাদেরকে রেখে দাও অথবা সহানুভুতির সাথে তাদেরকে মুক্ত করে দাও। আর তোমরা তাদেরকে জ্বালাতন ও বাড়াবাড়ি করার উদ্দেশ্যে আটকে রেখো না। আর যারা এমন করবে, নিশ্চয়ই তারা নিজেদেরই ক্ষতি করবে। আর আল্লাহর নির্দেশকে হাস্যকর বিষয়ে পরিণত করো না। আল্লাহর সে অনুগ্রহের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা তোমাদের উপর রয়েছে এবং তাও স্মরণ কর, যে কিতাব ও জ্ঞানের কথা তোমাদের উপর নাযিল করা হয়েছে যার দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দান করা হয়। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রাখ যে, আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়েই জ্ঞানময়।
