It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know

It is He who made the sun a radiance and the moon a light, and ordained its phases that you might know the number of years and the calculation [of time]. Allah did not create all that except with justice. He elaborates the signs for a people who have knowledge.

He it is Who appointed the sun a splendour and the moon a light, and measured for her stages, that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning. Allah created not (all) that save in truth. He detaileth the revelations for people who have knowledge.

It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.

اوست که خورشید را فروزان و ماه را تابان قرار داد، و برای ماه منازلی [چون هلال، تربیع، بدر و محاق] مقدّر ساخت تا شمار سال و حساب [ماه، هفته، اوقات امور زندگی و تنظیم برنامه های معیشت] را بدانید. خدا آنها را جز به درستی و راستی نیافریده؛ او نشانه ها را برای گروهی که دانایند [بدون هر گونه ابهام] بیان می کند.

اوست کسی که خورشید را روشنایی بخشید و ماه را تابان کرد، و برای آن منزلهایی معین کرد تا شماره سالها و حساب را بدانید. خدا اینها را جز به حق نیافریده است. نشانه‌ها[ی خود] را برای گروهی که می‌دانند به روشنی بیان می‌کند.

Güneşi ışıklı ve ayı nurlu yapan; yılların sayısını ve hesabı bilmeniz için, aya konak yerleri düzenleyen O'dur. Allah bunları ancak gerçeğe göre yaratmıştır; bilen millete ayetleri uzun uzadıya açıklıyor.

Dialah yang menjadikan matahari bersinar dan bulan bercahaya dan ditetapkan-Nya manzilah-manzilah (tempat-tempat) bagi perjalanan bulan itu, supaya kamu mengetahui bilangan tahun dan perhitungan (waktu). Allah tidak menciptakan yang demikian itu melainkan dengan hak. Dia menjelaskan tanda-tanda (kebesaran-Nya) kepada orang-orang yang mengetahui.

اسی خدا نے آفتاب کو روشنی اورچاند کو نور بنایا ہے پھر چاند کی منزلیں مقرر کی ہیں تاکہ ان کے ذریعہ برسوں کی تعداد اور دوسرے حسابات دریافت کرسکو -یہ سب خدا نے صرف حق کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے کہ وہ صاحبان هعلم کے لئے اپنی آیتوں کو تفصیل کے ساتھ بیان کرتا ہے

তিনিই সে মহান সত্তা, যিনি বানিয়েছেন সুর্যকে উজ্জল আলোকময়, আর চন্দ্রকে স্নিগ্ধ আলো বিতরণকারীরূপে এবং অতঃপর নির্ধারিত করেছেন এর জন্য মনযিল সমূহ, যাতে করে তোমরা চিনতে পার বছরগুলোর সংখ্যা ও হিসাব। আল্লাহ এই সমস্ত কিছু এমনিতেই সৃষ্টি করেননি, কিন্তু যথার্থতার সাথে। তিনি প্রকাশ করেন লক্ষণসমূহ সে সমস্ত লোকের জন্য যাদের জ্ঞান আছে।
