لَهُۥ لَّعَلَّهُۥ أَوْ ﴿٤٤﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]."

برخورد ملایم حتی با دشمنان

برای نفوذ در دل‌های مردم - هرچند گمراه و آلوده باشند - نخستین دستور قرآًن» برخورد ملایم و توأم با مهر و عواطف انسانی است. در بعضی از روایات آمده است که حتی موسی(ع) مأُمور بود فرعون را با بهترین نامش صدا کند؛ شاید در دل تاریک او اثر بگذارد.

    Except [when adding], "If Allah wills." And remember your Lord when you forget [it] and say, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to what is nearer than this to right conduct."

  • وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ

    And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'"

  • فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ

    So remind, if the reminder should benefit;

  • قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ

    [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning.
