And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, "Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?"

Why should you not fight in the way of Allah and the oppressed men, women, and children, who say, ‘Our Lord, bring us out of this town whose people are oppressors, and appoint for us a guardian from Yourself, and appoint for us a helper from Yourself’?

How should ye not fight for the cause of Allah and of the feeble among men and of the women and the children who are crying: Our Lord! Bring us forth from out this town of which the people are oppressors! Oh, give us from thy presence some protecting friend! Oh, give us from Thy presence some defender!

And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Thee one who will protect; and raise for us from Thee one who will help!"

How is it with you, that you do not fight in the way of God, and for the men, women, and children who, being abased, say, 'Our Lord, bring us forth from this city whose people are evildoers, and appoint t us a protector from Thee, and appoint to us from Thee a helper'?

شما را چه شده که در راه خدا و [رهایی] مردان و زنان و کودکان مستضعف [ی که ستمکاران هر گونه راه چاره را بر آنان بسته اند] نمی جنگید؟ آن مستضعفانی که همواره می گویند: پروردگارا! ما را از این شهری که اهلش ستمکارند، بیرون ببر و از سوی خود، سرپرستی برای ما بگمار و از جانب خود برای ما یاوری قرار ده.

و چرا شما در راه خدا [و در راه نجات‌] مردان و زنان و کودکان مستضعف نمی‌جنگید؟ همانان که می‌گویند: «پروردگارا، ما را از این شهری که مردمش ستم‌پیشه‌اند بیرون ببر، و از جانب خود برای ما سرپرستی قرار ده، و از نزد خویش یاوری برای ما تعیین فرما.»

Size ne oluyor da: "Rabbimiz! Bizi halkı zalim olan bu şehirden çıkar, katından bize bir sahip çıkan gönder, katından bize bir yardımcı lutfet" diyen zavallı çocuklar, erkekler ve kadınlar uğrunda ve Allah yolunda savaşmıyorsunuz?

Mengapa kamu tidak mau berperang di jalan Allah dan (membela) orang-orang yang lemah baik laki-laki, wanita-wanita maupun anak-anak yang semuanya berdoa: "Ya Tuhan kami, keluarkanlah kami dari negeri ini (Mekah) yang zalim penduduknya dan berilah kami pelindung dari sisi Engkau, dan berilah kami penolong dari sisi Engkau!".

اور آخر تمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ تم اللہ کی راہ میں اور ان کمزور مردوں, عورتوں اور بچوں کے لئے جہاد نہیں کرتے ہو جنہیں کمزور بناکر رکھا گیا ہے اور جو برابر دعا کرتے ہیں کہ خدایا ہمیں اس قریہ سے نجات دے دے جس کے باشندے ظالم ہیں اور ہمارے لئے کوئی سرپرست اور اپنی طرف سے مددگار قرار دے دے

আর তোমাদের কি হল যে, তেমারা আল্লাহর রাহে লড়াই করছ না দুর্বল সেই পুরুষ, নারী ও শিশুদের পক্ষে, যারা বলে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদিগকে এই জনপদ থেকে নিষ্কৃতি দান কর; এখানকার অধিবাসীরা যে, অত্যাচারী! আর তোমার পক্ষ থেকে আমাদের জন্য পক্ষালম্বনকারী নির্ধারণ করে দাও এবং তোমার পক্ষ থেকে আমাদের জন্য সাহায্যকারী নির্ধারণ করে দাও।
